2013 I was 23 going on 24, as a #FineArts major at FIT (@fineartsfit @fitnyc) when I painted this. "Paint a series," he said. I chose the theme, 🔥 as a life giving source (vs a destructive one.)That summer artist @aleathiab invited me to display my work in the annual #HarlemArtCrawl, a walking art tour with art inside several locations. Our work was displayed inside the Harlem Arts Alliance office @haacommunity

_🎨PT 1. Depicts the largest flame of life the sun. In reality it's a mass gathering of glowing gas molecules in a pitch black atmosphere of hydrogen atoms. As a broke college student, I used found wood. You can still see the tree knots.

_🎨Pt. 2 unfortunately was a piece discarded by the school after a certain date. I wasnt able to it in time. It showed r the formation of blue and green matter that would one day be what we call 🌎.

_🎨Pt. 3. Hue comes in 2 main types: Pigment and Light. LIGHT IS THE PUREST FORM OF REFINED FIRE. Without light there is no life. Light, is composed of a 7 hue spectrum which gets divided by our eyes to see color. The balanced combo of all the colors of pigment creates BLACK. Pigment and light have reverse rules yet are interconnected.
