African Harrier-hawk (Polyboroides typus)
Also known as: Gymnogene
One of the birds best adapted to living in urban areas, have seen them in the heart of the city. Often hanging upside down in trees, very acrobatic. Massive, quirky and beautiful.
Blacksmith Lapwing (Vanellus armatus)
[Blacksmith plover (technically blacksmith lapwing now but will always be a plover to me)] Very elegant, very shy, stupid little legs and overdramatic call.
