BlackSun Week: Scars

My dumb ass was following the wrong BlackSun Week Blog... annnnddd long story short--I missed most of it. But that’s okay because I had probably about a million other things to write. ;) And this one thing totally makes up for my lack of contribution, I hope. Enjoy!

“Good morning,” Sun’s voice was husky, and he peered lazily through drooping eyelashes at Blake, who purred and leaned in to press her lips to his gently.

           “Good morning.” Her voice was almost just as low, and if she had to say anything else…

           “Kiss me again,” Sun growled, leaning in closer. She could feel his hand tracing up and down her hip under the blankets. She rolled her eyes, and gently pulled him in by his neck, kissing him lightly at first, and then leaning into it hungrily.

               “I love you,” she breathed, their foreheads touching when she finally pulled away. Sun smiled, his hand moving from her hip, escaping the blankets, and cupping her cheek.

           “I love you more.” They lay in bed some time, just holding each other. Then Blake sighed, tracing a scar that marred Sun’s skin, just below his ribcage.

“What’s this from?” She murmured.

Sun winced, “Ursa. Don’t you remember? You were there. The last battle.”

“Vaguely,” she lied. She remembered every horrifying second of it. Those moments when she thought she was going to lose him at last. She had screamed because everything felt like it was falling apart. “Jaune saved your life?”

“Yeah,” Sun nodded. “He did. I don’t remember much after that ursa clawed me, everything was blurry and fading in and out…” He paused, glancing over at her with a smile, “But, I do remember seeing your face when Jaune fixed me up, when things were first starting to become clear again. It was like a sign. I’ve always loved you, Blake,” he said, “Since the moment I first ran past you in Vale, but in that moment, fighting all of Salem’s creatures…. I knew you were the one.” Blake traced her fingers over his scar once more and then she sighed.

“Sun, I have to tell you something.” She pulled away from his embrace after a moment. They had been married for two years now, she couldn't imagine why it made her so nervous to think about telling him these things. She knew he would be happy, so happy, overjoyed... but she was scared, and maybe it was his excitement that scared her. 

“What's wrong?” Sun whispered, “You look like you've seen a ghost.” Blake shook her head, 

“I'm sorry, I really... I...” She laughed a little, but it was humorless. “I'm pregnant.” The words slipped out quickly and she was relieved when it was over, and then the expression on his face was enough to bring a smile to hers. 

“Wh-what?!” He gasped, and then a brilliant grin, “Blake! What! We're going to have a baby?!” 

“Y-yeah!” She said, as he pulled her into his arms and showered her with kisses. 

“I'm going to be a father!” He pulled away from her, looking her up and down, “Y-you're going to be a mother! A baby!” His excitement was ridiculous, but it was perfectly Sun. “We're going to have a kid! Wow! I...” She saw the tears pooling around his eyelashes and quickly kissed them away. 

“Don't cry, please,” she whispered, holding him in her arms, “Can you believe it? Parents?” 

“I always hoped... dreamed...” 

“You did?” Blake laughed, “Really?” 

“I mean, how cute would our kids be?!” Sun grinned. “Two little monkeys, or kittens?! Aw!” 

“You're adorable,” Blake murmured, running her fingers through his curls. 

“Our kiddo is going to be adorable,” Sun said, “I bet you already are!” He directed his attention to Blake's belly, even though there was absolutely no sign of a baby yet. 

“Sun, they're not even the size of a pea!” Blake laughed, “And you're tickling me!” She involuntarily burst into giggles as Sun ran his fingers up and down her ribs. “Sun! Ah!” She collapsed into a fetal position, trying to shy away from his hands, but he was too fast. “Stopppp!” She couldn't stop laughing, “Not fair!” He paused, gently brushing his hand up and down her arm, and leaned over to kiss her nose. 

“I love you,” he whispered, “So much, Blake Wukong.” 

Blake smiled, warmth filling her heart, “I love you more, Sun. So much more.”

Inktober day 29 and BlackSun day 3: Parkour

Blacksun Week Day 2

It's been a hectic day ,but I still wanted to get something out there. It's kinda a mix of tea and double date. It's hard to see but Blake's holding a cup of tea and Neptune and Weiss are in the background as stick figures because I can't draw. Welcome to my super inconsistent art style.

I'm considering to contribute to this year's blacksun week, but I have a question is Oct. 28th prompt titled "free time" means that we can draw whatever we'd like, or that Sun and Blake are taking some free time?

It’s a free day! You could absolutely use it as “free time”, but to answer your question, it’s intended as a day that’s essentially promptless.

So yes, you can draw (or for other creators, write or edit etc) anything you desire for submission so long as it’s blacksun and adheres to the rules!

Last BlackSun Day (extra day): SoulMate!AU

Yes i though of Undertale when i read the word Soul even tho i didn't expect that Deltarune would came out around these days xD i didn't even know it existed

I put them with armor and weapon of said soul that identifies them, casually, it matches with the colour of the other so that means SoulMate for me
