The little girl and her interactions with Fisher Tiger and his crew especially right at the start is maybe the hardest I have cried in One Piece ever, the only other contenders being the crew’s separation at Sabaody, Ace, and something in a later arc (have fun :p)

Following up one more time with One Piece fic recs for @blackusopp, who just finished Water 7/Enies Lobby in the anime. Some of these are Luffy/Usopp or Luffy + Usopp gen, others are more Usopp-centric in general with relevance to this great arc. No spoilers past Enies Lobby.

Okay, this doesn't have Luffy in it, but first of all I have to rec this wonderful post-reunion fic with Usopp and Sanji (not shippy): Fitting Back In by tonko.

Remember by ptps. This one's Luffy/Usopp. Fluffy, post-reunion but written in advance of manga events.

Scarlet by ptps, written right after chapter 426 (equivalent of anime episode 308) with its magnificent cliffhanger shot came out. Also Lusopp.

Exoneration by ptps. Another Lusopp post-reunion written before the fact, less fluffy.

Map of the Heart and the Future by ptps. A great Luffy/Usopp fic that's in the format of thirty 100-word drabbles, where the last third (i.e. last ten parts) form a 1000-word ficlet set in the future. No spoilers past Enies Lobby.

50 sentences by ptps. Fifty one-sentence Luffy/Usopp stories, also spoilers up to Enies Lobby but no further.

Two fluffy fics by ptps with Luffy, Usopp and Chopper that I could have mentioned before but forgot. They're tagged as a ship, but it's all gen, so that's misleading: Sometimes. A brief touch of Luffy-angst with Usopp-comfort from Chopper's POV. Rain. Just hanging out while it's raining outside.

Granted by tonko. This one is really more about Luffy and Zoro, but it's set post-reunion and does feature some adorable Luffy + Usopp stuff, so I'm including it also because I love it.

A Dearer Spot Than All The Rest by tonko. Luffy & Usopp fluff, inspired by an icon.

A follow-up for my Water 7-themed post of fic recs from yesterday, also for @blackusopp, non-spoilery. As before, the fics are pretty old as I don't have the same urge to read fics these days. All but "First Kisses" are very short.
