Let's not forget that saying "people have no culture" is fundamentally wrong on a sociological point of view, I mean, as soon as you're part of a group, a culture is formed and developed and shared by the people part of said group. This whole "white people have no culture" thing is dumb as fuck.

Yeah, I really don't understand this attitude either. *shrug* I wish they would all just calm down and move on onto something that makes them feel better. Or perhaps they just like to be negative about everything all the time.

idk I mean my hp was the dark tower and I’m plenty aware it’s not politically correct and I’ve hated the ending for the last ten years, doesn’t mean I go and dissect it and make a list of everything horrid stephen king could have written better??? I mean it was still my formative reading when I was fifteen I love it with the faults it has??? idg. people need to just enjoy stuff instead of tearing it down just for the sake of arguing DD:

The Harry Potter fandom on Tumblr is pretty awful tbh. I grew up with these books, they got me into writing, I love them as a part of my formative years on a bunch of levels, and the fandom on there managed to put me off this universe, to the point I never want to reblog anything about it ever again (except for Henry Cavill-as-Charles-Brandon as Godric Gryffindor, but hey, detail) so yeah, long story short, this fandom is awful and loves to police people's headcanons & interpretations.

honestly idg why people do it - I mean, I’d never even go and try to dissect shit I grew up with just for the sake of finding the problematic material or make it more palatable to what’s politically correct these days??? idk man I’m just really weirded out and I’m really glad I dodged that bullet..
