Billy (2022) - I was recently contacted by @GROVEMADE to sample their new limited edition GROVEMADE x BLACKWING PENCIL KIT; a collaboration with the iconic stationery company.  . The lead itself is fairly dark and on the softer side, so if you have a heavier hand, it might best be used for later stages of your drawing as it will smudge. Being accustomed to mechanical pencils for years, it was nice to feel a wooden pencil in my hand again though.  . The beautiful sharpener sits smartly into the holder, but can be easily removed for use. I found it fit comfortably in the palm, with a satisfying weight, and looks as elegant when outside of the holder as it does when it’s in.  .
