EPILEPSY WARNING! another test using blind animation on top of animated still images. Took a while to figure out but managed to get the inverting right with the layered images so the blind animation is still visible. Really happy though with the outcome (even though my eyes are in agony after making and watching it!)
Doing more blind drawings whilst listening to the album ‘Blood Mountain’ by Mastodon. However, I decide to try and animate blind this time and it came out with quite an interesting result!
Been working on my new project, a music video for Mastodon’s song ‘Bladecatcher’ !! Going to be doing more lino prints and experimenting with still image animation. I also intend to include some experiments with rotoscoping. Here’s one of my tests of a wolf howling!
