Tyneham Village - abandoned village in 1943 to be used as a military training ground. Villagers hoped one day they could return but it was not the case. Most of the buildings have been reduced to shells of what they were.

Side project for my final year at uni, entering the NAPA Flipbook competition again! Came in the top 10 last year and hoping to do better with this one that I'm calling "The Wood's". My pre major project this year is creating a gothic and horror atmosphere without being literal. I've been doing a lot of reportage of unnerving places and spaces from church's and odd trees to parks and train stations late at night. This flip book will hopefully create an uneasy feeling even though the focus is of a 'cute' rabbit in the forest...

EPILEPSY WARNING! another test using blind animation on top of animated still images. Took a while to figure out but managed to get the inverting right with the layered images so the blind animation is still visible. Really happy though with the outcome (even though my eyes are in agony after making and watching it!)

Starting to manipulate my images more to create different ways of showing motion using Photoshop. The liquify tool helped me create this swirling effect for the crystal skull and will work well going into my eye animation. This will hopefully make a good transition from black on white, to white on black.
