“Fantastic. Just what we need right now”.
They were words spoken with venomous irritation; delivered upon heavy and exasperated breaths. Without a second to waste, she’d seized hold of Elatha’s sleeve, not about any inconvenience to get between them unexpectedly.
“Why don’t you hold him?” she asked, gesturing to Sub-Manager, who dangled in her arm which folded against her chest. “I’ll deal with this beacon business. If we run into trouble along the way, it’ll be an easy tool for venting out frustration”.
Beacon in hand, she stormed forward, as though heavy footfalls might drive home the bothersome nature of the task handed down unto them to whoever had issued such instructions. Having death hang over them as punishment made it all the more infuriating. Face wrinkled with bubbling rage, Misaki - without truly thinking it over - pulled her arm wielding the item over her shoulder with intention to launch it no differently than a ball. Halted solely by another entering the line of fire, as her arm snapped ahead, sending her stumbling a little forward once the arc was completed to avoid following through.
