She didn’t think she really had any need for her staff and materia anymore, although the extra security it provided wasn’t something she would turn her nose up at. But at the expense of harming a creature she was meant to befriend? Well, she’d rather go without her equipment honestly. Still, she’d sought out said creature and found one that seemed friendly enough, pretty adorable too and didn’t seem scared of her as she approached it in Ilmatar forest. “How could I hurt you huh? Unless you grow up wanting to eat me but...” trailing off as she didn’t really know what the creature was, there was a high possibility it would want to eat her when it was bigger.
Her thoughts on the matter were disrupted when the snapping of twigs and the rustling of leaves reach her ears. From the bushes emerge a young man, and she’s quick to grasp her new animal friend between lithe fingers.
“If you’re out here hunting, this one is off limits” lips purse as she assumes that’s what he’s out here for. Granted, there wasn’t much she could do if he really did want her companion for dinner, but she certainly wasn’t going to give him up so easily. “There’s lots of berries around that would be better for you, healthier too,” or poisonous.
