I need to know your thoughts on the episode immediately. I'm currently in fetal position on my floor and crying.
I AM DEAD.
I DIED.

Okay dramatics aside lets get down to the grit of it. That was not what I was expecting. I mean yeah I knew Stiles was going to play the hero but the emotions that ran through the episode were just so strong. Not only did we get to see the horrifying destruction of Lydia’s scream on Valek (I made a quite audible noise of disgust) but we got to see pure as day how much she loves Stiles Stilinski.
I’m not the only one who noticed the way the two clung to each other, faces just a breath away. They were so close to kissing it was insane and to quote or newbie human “INTENSE”. While I and likely every other Stydia shipper would have loved for a spur of the moment omg one or both of us might die kiss it wasn’t the right time. Lydia was in crazy pain and Stiles wasn’t thinking clearly. What we got was enough. It was so enough that I cried god damn it.
Natalie Martin stepped up!! I knew that once she realised it was undeniable that she would move to accommodate her daughters supernatural like and the BAMF took down Tracy so her daughter could be saved.
The scene at the end where Lydia screams and the glass breaks and ugh. Stiles protects her again despite the fact that could have been her dying scream, he could have died in that moment with her but no he had to keep her protected. When she didn’t wake up I actually sobbed. The look on Stiles’ face as he begged her to let him see her eyes. Scott and Deaton could see it, stiles was starting to break down. Then you see him pause and I have no doubt had Lydia not taken a breath in that moment Stiles would have started screaming. All that work, all that effort, making the plan, convincing everyone the plan would work, getting in to Eichen, dealing with the plan doing wrong, working with Theo just to get to her, he would have been exhausted but then to have her almost not wake up...
Lydia Martin gave us the look of Love three times this episode. Once when she realised Stiles was never going to leave her behind, twice when she opened her eyes and he was there to hold her hand and tell her she was okay, and the third time when she was clinging to her mother and murmuring the words “Stiles saved me.” If “Stiles Still Likes Her” hadn’t convinced me that Stydia was endgame then this episode did. It was full to the brim of big and little moment that just solidified them. Lydia is going to have to address just what Stiles is willing to do to save her. They’re going to have to talk about the fact Stiles would rather die with her than live without.
This got longer than I thought it was going to. I NEED TEA. I’M STILL SHAKING.
