Before the plague years I enjoyed wandering in various parts of town and stopping in whichever cafe was near. I meet a few friends on Saturday mornings now @oldtowncoffeepdx and am grateful the owner @nicoletignor has kept the shop going as the virus abates and people return. I think of the places I’ve found in the past and enjoy the idea of visitors to Portland discovering a great cup of coffee, a warm room with friendly people, and coffee and chocolate imported by Nicole and roasted by her in the shop. She’s also an excellent photographer. Día 1: El Hermitaño -  The hermit

Para Practicar el Dibujo Digital, me propusieron realizar un Inktober. Por esta razón elegí uno de hace dos años que me gusto mucho, de Mili Koe... 

Todos los Dibujos de esta lista serán estilo blanco y negro, con ciertas excepciones...

"Secrets"

Fotografía de la cerradura de un baúl.

El baúl tiene bastantes años, y, en cada generación que ha pasado, ha tenido en su posesión diferentes objetos. Objetos que ahora nunca sabremos qué fueron, o qué historia tuvieron. Objetos que son secretos para nosotros, hoy en día.

Compositivamente, tenemos la llave en la esquina inferior derecha, colocada en el punto fuerte inferior derecho, según la regla de los tercios. Esta forma una línea diagonal que nos dirige hacia la cerradura, en la línea fuerte horizontal inferior, encontrándose en la mitad de la imagen. Está algo desenfocada, para que la mirada se vaya primeramente a la llave.

Ese aspecto antiguo que posee la fotografía se logra gracias al blanco y negro y al ruido, que nos recuerdan a una época pasada, además de que realza las texturas decrépitas de la madera y metal.
