Blank (aka _____tale Ink) starts hallucinating, as the mind does when faced with absolute sensory deprivation and emptiness. But he has no concept of colors or shapes or things, or voices beside his own. All he can audibly hallucinate is his own voice, which isn't so bad, because he doesn't know what hallucinations are, so the way he remembers it is that he just said some stuff. Same with tactile hallucinations.

But visual ones... he hallucinates them. The other sketches. He hallucinates them.... "moving". Talking with his voice.

He doesn't know what hallucinations are. He just has these warped memories of them being active. He is sure it's real, it must be, is it? Isn't it?

They must be alive. He's seen it. They have to be.

(It gives him the false hope to hang on. Maybe that's worse.)
