monsoon
tonight the moon's on
and water rise for moon son
in salutation
rain
i can hear the rain
heavy pelts on surfaces
an orchestra of the same note
repeated again and again
a symphony of white noises
blabbers of an innocence
burned bright in the background
i can feel the thunder
each strike bringing it with
a storm of suddenness
boom, it goes
and my heart skips a beat
in tune to the wondrous beat
of nature's guided performance
a song weaved by gentle hands
the choir is singing
the dancers are twirling
a mother smiles
as her sky cries
unknown #3
red is all i see
this burning feeling in my heart
sings even my own skin
and up and wide it spreads
ashes i become of my own doings
a crack in the sky
a blink of an eye
here when there was none
crushing me heavy, heavy
and i sat where i stand
helpless with its coming
hard slams of boots
steel on my bare back
wisps and tendrils in my eyes
reflected clear yet hazy
and i crow the unfamiliarity
a stranger of an emotion
unseen and unheard
still my beating heart whispers
claims of untruths and lies
flowing free a sharp beak
