Ah, you were near Asheville! You drove close to my most favorite ridiculous tourist thing ever - Gem Mountain! Where you can buy a bucket of sand and stuff from a nearby gem mine and sift for stuff. I have a garnet that was cut to the size of my pinky nail, and my mom found a star sapphire the size of her thumb there. :)
THAT IS MY FAVORITE PASTIME AND NOBODY UNDERSTANDS ME. But I also grew up in the area, and gem mining/gold panning/etc. are just parts of the cheesy local tourist economy. New idea: Tiaras n Teakettles gem mining meet up. Come meet me and dig in the sand for jewels. Yes.
Did you mean to tag that post with the eagle in the 'fish asses' dumpster as cats? It got a cackle out of me when I saw it, but birb is not cat. :)
UGH NO this is a thing Xkit does and i really wish it wouldn’t! Because sometimes I wind up briefly tagging upsetting things with “aaaahhhhhh this is beautiful” or “shit yeah sign me up”. And sometimes it just leads to comedy, tagging garbage birds with “cats.”
I humbly submit Wild Zero for a movie night. The first half is a little boring, but there are zombies. Zombies in love. Other things that would spoil it.
I’m looking into it now and the only crime is that we didn’t watch this sooner.
What do you think about this Megatron, who seems to think he needed to also be a shark?
