How interesting. How lovely, even. The world was to end? Just like that? ♪
He laughed in the face of the prospect. ♪
In many ways, he had experienced this before, but above him did not hang a red moon but a supposed opposite: a blue sky. Happiness and hope, a heaven that was always just out of reach, him being forced into the dark like the underling he was. A plaything to be used and abused, underneath a sky that mocked him in its beauty did Kou’s human life end. Abandoning humanity, trading morality... from the barren ashes came his true form. And he loved this version of himself, didn’t he? ♪

But regardless of answer, he did not consider these thoughts now. They remain untouched in his subconscious, merely brushed with mental fingertips as he saw others tremble. Fear. Cowardice. Around him the world truly crumbled, but... he was fine. Just fine. Among other things he was gifted his flight, of which he now floated over the chaos. It was quite amusing -- he would have to find Yuma later to be sure the buffoon could handle himself, as well (certainly not to check up on him) -- but what amused him right off the bat was a familiar face. One that would be oh so glad to see him. Call it luck, call it fate... Kou didn’t exactly believe in either. ♪
