One of the things love the most about ichihime is that ichigo have been "looking out" for orihime LONGER THEN SHES BEEN IN LOVE WITH HIM, like kubo confirmed that ichigo started to look after orihime when she first appeared at his family's clinic after the lose of her brother, as he knows what its like to lose someone that important due to his mother, but hime, possibly suffering from blocking out her traumatic memories, (or that she wasn't able to catch ichigos face at his clinic that time because of the situation)only remembers first meeting ichigo in middle school, and possibly still doesn't know this fact...

SO THIS SHIP ISN'T A SHE FELL FIRST HE FELL HARDER AFTER ITS MUTUAL PINNING BUT THE MALE LEAD HAD UNREPRESSED EMOTIONS THAT TOOK HIM A WHILE TO COMPREHEND (because guys are just like that..)

Grimmjow and Ichigo: meeting again after many years - my conclusions, opinions and reflections - Or how cats lost their claws

So… when I first saw this "meme" I smiled and calmly, I kept scrolling through Facebook. Then I saw it a few times and each time I looked at it longer. It was posted in many Bleach groups on FB. At first I didn't think much about it, a meme like any other but… something started to feel off.

Their meetings were different, that's obvious because they have a very first meeting and then they meet again after years. But let me explain. Comparing these two moments I come to the conclusion that it looks like they lost their claws. These metaphorical ones, but we all know what I mean.

Their first meeting full of aggression, fighting - bared teeth, lust for defeat, fighting. They were sharper. The second one is calm, Grimmjow still wants to fight but they are different: calmer. I think their faces and facial expressions from the screenshots show quite clearly what I mean. After the first meeting they are calmer - Ichigo has more control over himself. Grimmjow can act normal. Ichigo has more control over his Hollow and Grimmjow doesn't have to prove anything anymore. It's clear that both of them have changed.

They've become more gentle, they can work together. I ask: Where is their hunger for battle? Where is it? Where are their claws? I don't want them to kill each other, you know, but still… the cats were captured and domesticated.

I think this would be a good place to start developing their relationship again. Definitely yes. An interesting starting point in dispelling their feelings for each other - let's be honest: I'm not a fan of the ending pairing. Ichigo and Grimmjow had an aggressive start and their relationship could have developed in many ways. Similar in a way - Hollow and half-Hollow. One learning to be a Hollow, the other human. They learn from each other.

You know, enemies - friends - lovers? Maybe. I don't believe that in a shonen anime/manga they would have a homosexual couple, at least not yet, but even ending with friendship is an interesting motif. Enemies who have lost their claws. It's just a stupid meme, but it confuses me a lot.

(Of course I'm leaving out the role of animation in this because it's obvious, these scenes are 17 years apart, of course they will be different.)

if you’re still doing little headcanons and such, how would Byakuya be with a... rowdier partner? i’ve gotten a lot better at being quieter or calmer most times but around my friends or people i’m dating i am still kinda feral and have trouble not being loud on accident or whatnot XD i wonder if i’d be too much for him if he were real. this also applies to nsfw stuff 😝

This is more of a discussion topic than something to try to keep contained to one little headcanon. So, let’s talk about beautiful Byakuya :)

Well...Yeah, boisterous behavior doesn’t sit well with Byakuya. I mean, look how he acted around Ichigo and Renji quarreling and being too loud outside Rukia’s room. In Hellverse, Ichigo yelled in his face, grabbed his lapels, and shook him. And, Byakuya just stood there with his eyes closed and waited for Ichigo to finish his freak-out. 

Byakuya is a very calm man. On the inside he might be jumping for joy, angry as a kicked hornet’s nest, or deeply sad, but on the outside he will never show it. He’s spent his adult life keeping a tight rein on his emotions and give the outward appearance that absolutely nothing bothers him. 

Underneath all that though, he is very passionate in private. He is a different man in a committed relationship. Some of that will cause some changes to how he interacts with others, but he will always be mindful of how he is perceived in public.

All that said, there is still a good chance that if your outbursts are just you being fun and excited then he’ll be just fine with it. He’d even enjoy the exuberance, especially in the bedroom. BUT not all the time. He can be playful in bed, but he takes sex very seriously as far as being romantic and passionate. Now, as far as the level of noises you make...let loose, he gets off on knowing you’re really enjoying what he’s doing to you.

Zangetsu/Hollow Ichigo name - Survey

Ok. So another survey. Sorry-not-sorry. But seriously, I really want to know what the Bleach fandom thinks about specific things.つ﹏⊂ Zanpakutō Ichigo - Zangetsu. Or Hollow Ichigo. In the fandom, he had several versions of his "name" over the years. I remember he was called White Ichigo, Hollow Ichigo and finally he got a name: Shiro, or Hichigo, a variation of the surname is Shirosaki. I remember he was even written as Ikasoruk Ogihci - backwards, but this form probably quickly disappeared from the fandom (although I could be wrong). In fanfics, I come across many versions, there are definitely some more popular ones like Shiro, Hichigo to those I haven't come across in fanfics for years like Ogihci. I wonder what the preferred form of his name is. I don't hide the fact that Hichi is one of my favorite characters and I love him. (And I think the AU idea of ​​Ichigo and Higo being brothers/twins is great.) Personally, I also like the version where his name is Zangetsu Kurosaki. After all, he and Ichigo are like one soul. I mean, in general, in canon stories and various AUs, which version of the name do you prefer? Or maybe it changes and is different every time?

The survey does not mention the surname, only the name. For me his surname is always Shirosaki or Kurosaki.

(I'm not a fan of Old-Man-Zangetsu-Quincy. Honestly - I can't stand the idea of ​​Ichigo-Quincy. Somehow it doesn't get to me.)

So, can I have some headcanons for Renji, Grimmjow and Byakuya dating a demon s/o? Thank you!

This one took some research! Lol ;) 

Well, this presents a problem since demons in the Bleachverse are depicted in Hellverse and are actually beings of Hell. It can also be seen that hollows are demons. Since Byakuya and Renji are both tasked with killing hollows and fighting against demons in Hellverse, neither one would ever take a demon on a date. Now, as a fanfiction writer, I won’t discount any angle that someone wants to try to make that kind of pairing happen. But for me, it would take way too much stretching/changing of their personalities and roo many challenges to the core of their roles as soul reapers to make it plausibly work. Sorry.

The argument can be made that we can consider Grimmjow to be an advanced form of demon since he began as a hollow. For him, taking another hollow as a lover may have been something he did in the past in his more primitive form. However, as an Espada, I could easily see him dating another Espada or even an arrancar that isn’t strong enough to be given a number. As for a demon from Hell, I don’t see that happening. The demons in Bleach’s Hell are there to torment the souls of those that have been sent there. While they have some bit of sentience, they seem to be emotionless beings that are confined to Hell. If anything, Grimmjow would want to fight them and he’d have fun doing it.

What do you think Aizen would be like if he had *not* betrayed Soul Society or had a huge God-complex?

Well, the short answer is that Aizen wouldn’t be Aizen. Every story needs a villain and that fell on his shoulders, sexy as they may be.

But, hey, let’s chase the rabbit and imagine an alternate world where sexy Sosuke is a good guy:

   * Completely a humanitarian, a real sweetheart of a man. We’re talking the kind of man that would read to the blind in his free time; volunteer for any charitable act; saves stray animals; loves kids; always has a smile and a kind word for everyone; and...well, you get the idea. 

   * He’d be rather shy around anyone that he finds attractive. The ladies find him so handsome, but that attention will induce some hot blushes and need to flee. He’d probably be a step up from Hanataro on the timid scale when it comes to women. 

   * As a Captain, I think he would be the kind to perform heroic acts but be uncomfortable with any praise for them. He’d be quick to say that he could never have done it without the support of his lieutenant and division. He’ll be more inclined to shine a spotlight on them instead of himself. 

  * Overall, I think his personality would be on par with Jushiro Ukitake. I think he’d be highly respected by the other Captains as well as every soul that comes into contact with him. 

   * His zanpakto will have a completely different orientation and power. Evil Aizen has a zanpakto perfect for manipulation and the pursuit of his nefarious goals. Angel Aizen would have one that is probably based on an element -- water would be a good one.

I've been thinking and I believe that Mayuri, if he happened to fall in love ( which could happen once in a blue moon probably ), would fall so hard. I mean he seems like he avoids all sorts of "getting close" to people - I still want to know his backstory. I would assume if he fell in love in would creep up on him, maybe they'd work with him for a while and the more time they spend together the more his hear flutters, you know. He'd never be your perfect hollywood bf but he'd love deeply

I would LOVE to know Mayuri’s backstory! Something had to have happened to him early in life to shape him into someone that has no regard for anyone. There’s some deep trauma in that one. 

Y’know, I don’t think he avoids getting close to people, he just genuinely doesn’t care about people. He cares about science and his pursuit of its mysteries. He’s very callous to the point of coming across as a villain. But, he does show some glimpses of care for his fellow captains, they’re rare and low-key, but they show he’s not a complete monster. 

I always like to think that everyone is capable of love. For Mayuri, IF he were to truly fall in love with someone it would sneak in under his radar. I think he tolerates others, just barely, but he does it. 

The comedienne in me imagines Mayuri as thinking something is really wrong with himself, like maybe he’s ill or has been severely poisoned by someone or something. So, he’ll put himself through a rigorous battery of testing and experiments to find out exactly what is wrong so that he can cure himself of the strange sensations he’s experiencing....

....then Akon will casually say, “Sounds like you’re in love.”

And Mayuri’s face will go blank. 

That’s when he’ll begin a new project -- an antidote to love.  He’ll do it just to prove he can. It’s not that he doesn’t want to be in love, it’s the challenge of the science!

Would I be missing anything important if I skipped the Bount arc?

Most will tell you, “No, you won’t.” 

I don’t agree. You will miss the beautiful artwork. The look of all the characters got so much better! You will miss a deeper look into Uryu. You’ll miss Ichigo struggling with his confidence. (If I remember correctly, he even had a anxiety/panic attack) You will miss three of my favorite scenes in Bleach: 1 - Byakuya staring at the moon. 2 - Byakuya swooping in to catch Rukia who was getting her ass handed to her. 3 - Byakuya’s fight scene with Jin Kariya. You will miss backstory about Kenpachi and his display of some rather deep thoughts. You will miss a major injury to Rukia that really messed her up. Byakuya totally went into protective brother mode. You will miss a lot more too. Jin Kariya was pretty hot, as were Koga, and Noba. Maki Ichinose was rather easy on the eyes too. ;) He was a fucking brat, but you gotta hand it to anyone that is willing to stand in front of Kenpachi and believe they’re gonna win. 

Are there cringe-worthy moments because the writing is bad? Yep. Sure are. There are some who are canon purists and don’t accept any of the anime filler arcs. Personally, I like the filler arcs. The Bount arc was pretty stinky in some places, but I still found things to like about it. 

I think if you skip the Bount arc you’ll be missing out on some deeper insight into some characters. You have to get past the mod souls and their “game” with Ichigo. That was flat-out stupid. I was scratching my head and wondering, “What IS this shit?” But, once you get to Soi Fon in the world of the living helping Yourichi investigate a mystery, that’s when it gets a bit better. A lot happens in that arc. If you really love some of the core characters then you will enjoy them in this arc. 

This is all my opinion, anyone who thinks differently is perfectly welcome to disagree. :)
