ROLL YOUR SLEEVES UP!
Good lord
How I imagine Linebeck coping after Link and Ciela left:
"Boy, am I glad those boozos left..."
"Aho wuho hou eugh WAHGH!!"
ahhh i cant take it anymoreeeeee, i dont like kissing okay??!!! like 95% of it is sensory hellllllllllllllll ah
there are exceptions and being force kissed is HOT - but make no mistake, i do NOT enjoy it okay please stop asking me to make out lets just feel each other up and be handsy okay?
I am going to say this now, before wrong ideas are formed.
I genuinely hate being a middleman like this, it's not entertaining for me in any way, and I am not trying to hurt any of you by posting this. In fact it's the only time I will ever do something like this. However, I think they have a few good points (and a good apology) so I'm going to be putting a few screenshots from our DMs under the cut.
So below is the Chain system's apology. I really do hope you look at this with an open mind, because they do seem genuinely sorry. They also wanted to add that none of this is said angrily.
Yuck
Just posting it under a read more. Me just whining.
Tpot 15 spoilers
Three almost speaking and then immediately getting replaced by four oh my godddddd..,.

Ugh.
Remember that poll that was going around a few days ago about what minor beneficial mutation you'd pick, and I was like, "better eyesight has been top of my list for ever, but now that I have this lower back thing, IDK?"
Well, eyesight remains the reigning champion. I went to the eye doctor today, and the good news is that my eyes look healthy apart from my extreme nearsightedness.
The bad news is that the eye doctor wants to put me in bifocals--not a massive surprise; I'm at the age for it, and I've been noticing a lot lately that things are just printed way too small.
The worse news is that this change puts my already-special prescription into the range of what can only be dispensed by specialty providers. None of the cheap online places can even come close, and after some looking around, I have serious doubts that the price the eye place quoted me ($500, plus frames) is actually the price (I wasn't planning on buying them there, so I just asked the optician to give me an idea of what the lenses would be, so I don't know if her computer was drawing from an actual inventory or just spitting out the price for high-index multifocal lenses in general).
Anyway, I've sent my prescription to the other non-chain eye places in town, to see what they can tell me about pricing.
The fallback option, if nobody can actually dispense my prescription for less than the price of my car, is to just get a separate pair for each prescription. Zenni can do that for about $250, although as previously noted I don't really like any of the frames they have that will work with my prescription.
Also, given how I absolutely cannot function in any way without my glasses--I mean, I can probably find my way around my own house, and I can read short pieces of text, like the directions on a microwave dinner, if I close one eye and hold it 2 inches from my face, but that's literally it--my anxiety will not permit me to do without a spare pair. (With my prescription, there is no such thing as 1-hour glasses or even rush delivery ; they take weeks if not months.) So I'm looking at a minimum of $500 for two of each from Zenni, or, if possible, whatever it is for the bifocals plus the two Zenni pairs as backups.
FML.
But hey, I'm not going blind, which is something I always morbidly worry about when I have an eye exam scheduled, so technically, today is a win.
