The art of blending involves creating a sensory experience that extends beyond the nose to other parts of the mind /body. Like a musician’s guitar the blend may need to be “tuned” to provide the intended effect. In the LOVE Blend there’s some geranium, lavender, lemongrass, orange, melissa, ylang ylang.... And despite a formula, I always need to adjust the aromatic frequencies to harmonize the blend... like adjusting the pitch of each string to hear a proper sounding F major 7 chord.
