I for one am glad you're here. I'm glad that you chose to spend your spare time reading the stories I've put out there. It's okay that you don't kudos, or leave a comment. I put my fics out there for anyone who cares to read, and that includes you guys.

Anyway yes, hello! Welcome to my blog! I have chosen the name GreatlyBlessed, you may refer to me as Bless. :D
I am a grown woman somewhere between 20 and 30 (and a little closer to the latter). I have aspirations of one day making money off original works-- but for now fanfiction is eating my brain so we'll just roll with that for now.
Right now the brainrot is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but I don't think I'll be messing with sideblogs so if I fall into a new fandom ya'll are gonna see it.

💭 First because I think it's gonna be easiest--
I kind of just. Get story ideas I want to put out there for people to enjoy? Specifically I'll end up with some kind of conglomeration of characters/themes/wordlbuilding that makes me go yessssssssss. So for Mixed Bag, that was the idea of the scrambled up turtle teams. For my current OF project, that was the re-imagining of our DnD group in an urban fantasy beachy setting. (Though it's changed drastically from that initial inspiration lol.)
Quite a few of my OF projects actually started as fanfic daydreams that I realized I could file the serial numbers off of and have work as OF without losing what made me interested in them in the first place.
🦋 Oooooh this is hard. Because so many characters have different things that are so fun to write!! I love Rise Leo's schemery that just flies so under the radar it is currently causing Problems. I love 87 Donatello just having 0 chill at all. I love putting the characters in situations that bring out parts of their characterization we don't see much of in canon (03 Mikey being forced to be Competent lol).
Overall I do tend to enjoy the more dramatic characters, just because it's fun to write characters being over-the-top and some of them lend to that easier than others lol. But I don't think I could pick an overall favorite.

I will give special shoutouts to the commenter who made their own little chart for who goes where lol. It's a big, confusing fic and I appreciate them making the effort to be able to track it!!

I thought I'd talked about it on tumblr before but I can't find the post? So if this seems familiar, sorry I tried my best.
I shall put the rest behind a cut because then I won't feel bad about getting Long.
So! The original fiction currently in progress is dubbed "Urban Beach Fantasy". It's (currently) set in the 90's in small-town California. (May move it back a decade because it has come to my attention that yes they would have cell phones in the 90's.)
Anyway cast of characters! We have Finn, the 19 year old local sea witch. Also the local kook because hey, talking about mermaids like they were real when he was younger sure has given him a reputation he can't shake. He's just trying to coast through life, and avoid any more problems. Do a little bit to help out the magical community, but not in a way that calls too much attention to himself.
There's his little brother Sean, who is very embarrassed to be related to That Guy. Now, Sean's seen enough to know Finn's telling the truth about the merfolk and the magic. Sean also is 15 and very susceptable to peer pressure. They don't get along.
And the last of the main trio would be Josie! 30's, maybe 40's something psychic. She roams from town to town, wherever her visions take her, in order to solve problems.
And yes, Finn, the fact people have been randomly losing their minds is in fact a problem. A magical problem. And yes you are the local witch so you really should be helping here.
As Josie investigates (dragging a relunctant Finn along) they slowly uncover just who is behind it, and why. Also Sean has to chose between being accepted and doing the right thing.
I am. Struggling a lot to actually get the words on page. But it's a fun story that I love very much and!! One of these days!!
