Fate is a funny thing in love and romance as well. My brother Dante had two more wives after his marriage to Tiffany failed soon after the birth of their son, Darien. After his third marriage failed he decided that his energies would be better spent in science and he returned working for the government. His most latest endeavor has him is working in an unknown location, on a top secret project. Darian, who has followed in his footsteps is living in a remote location south of Oasis Springs, studying abnormal plant life. Interesting right?
As for my love life and romance, to be honest, a few years after Laurel’s passing I gave it little thought, but I began to regain some of the memories from the other reality I came from, and over the years, it all came back to me. I never shared any of this with anyone, just kept these things to myself, realizing that sharing this information would bring more harm than good. But, as I said fate has a way of coming around to where it needs to be, and after my mother’s death, Alex and I began to realize that we had more than a bond of friendship. Our mutual admiration for one another soon grew into something more, and we realized that we loved one another. He and I moved into together in my home, and a couple years before my father’s death, Alex and I were married in a private civil ceremony. He, not having children of his own became a wonderful second parent to Michael and Mila, and they both adore him.
However, our relationship has had to work through a lot over the years, as Alex took on the role as Master of the Realm, and many days, weeks and months he has spent in Alexandria. He was able to bring all the covens together across the realm and as of today, dark magics are almost unheard of. Every coven has grown twice their size, and our communities thrive because of it. An Era of Good and Light is what we like to refer to it as.
