38. What memory do they revisit the most often?

Siavash’s connection to Elysium comes from his childlike sense of joy and wonder. When he walks down memory lane he likes to think back to fun childhood moments like swimming in the Andoshen in the summer, or when the old Desnan beekeeper would give him honeycombs and teach him songs, or that one Festival of Stardust when he had first real kiss.

But he’s also prone to guilt, and he won’t shy away from recalling in painful detail the things he’s done that hurt people he loves. He sort of punishes himself by remembering his ex’s tears every time he left on another adventure.

Post-Crusade he's definitely avoiding thinking about any Crusade memories at all, except the happy little moments like getting Woljif out of jail when they first met.

B. What inspired you to create them?

This is hard to answer because he sort of sprang fully formed out of the chaos of me carelessly clicking through character creation in PWOTR. It was Desna’s luck I guess. A lot of random choices just happened to synergize, like bard and Andoren diplomat and then choosing the azata path. Here’s a confession though. He’s only blond because I chose Tristian’s portrait (not having played Kingmaker yet). He doesn't look like Tristian in my mind's eye at all now though.

Saw @blighted-elf 's template and decided to make an attempt for my OC. Heavy on the headcanons as I'm a brand new Switch player to this fanbase, but I'm already intrigued by the lore and story, and in love with some of the NPCs (and a strong distrust of other NPCs but that's just me lol).

Decided to use a very old OC name instead of the name I used to create my save with. I think it fits better with the naming conventions for Palians anyhow.

Also, is it Pay-lee-uh or Pah-lee-uh? I assumed Pah-lia at first, but I've heard most say it Pay-lia.

🦋 tell us about your current wip

The one I've spent the last few days on is a little off-the-cuff fluffsmut thing that grew legs. :P Involves Karlach and Hector (Tav) getting frisky in the library of the House of Hope during their Avernus adventures post-game and almost getting walked in on by Wyll. :P

The other thing I'm working on is Chap4 of Open Your Eyes which I have rambled about a bunch recently and I swear I am also working on it as well as just rambling about it. XD

Ummm. Is it weird to say that I'm proud I've stepped out of my comfort zone in publishing some E-rated stuff? I guess probably it would be more accurate to say that I'm proud that I have a bit of a range in terms of what I write about, ranging from really sappy/spicy romance stuff to explorations of purely platonic relationships as well.

Family for the OC relationship meme please!

Family: What's your OC's family like? Is it a family of blood, choice, or something else? How does your OC feel about their blood relations? If they have a family of choice, how did they come together?

afhiri's family are from baldur's gate, in the lower city. they are poor and live in a small two bedroom. afhiri has 6 siblings, with the 6th being born during the events of the game. afhiri is the eldest!

they love their family a lot and has no negative association with them despite the pressure they were put under by their parents to help raise their siblings. afhiri wasn't allowed a childhood because she had to be a third parent. but at no point do they resent their parents or the situation they're in.

they do however relish the moment they are free from it all, and leave home, and baldur's gate, roughly a year before the events of the game!

they also view their friends as family, including every single one of the companions. they are essentially adopted by afhiri immediately upon meeting, and she loves them akin to blood straight away, giving them all large portions of her hearts before they even know them!
