Blind anon again! Injuries are indeed a reason to portray cloudier eyes (although be sure to do research on what exactly would cause it! Sometimes injuries to the eye leave scars but no perceptible difference in the iris/pupil itself, when the damage is hidden in the gelatinous chamber behind. It depends!) and Even some illnesses do cause some eye difference, but a good way to balance this out is to have another blind character whose eyes are not shown that way! Having multiple disabled characters is always a good idea, as we will often find a community of our peers! Even if the cat world, where the communities are more rigidly defined and cut off from each other, there is a strong possibility that more than one cat will be blind or mostly blind (keep in mind that some useable sight is not uncommon! For cats like elders, cats with exceptionally pale eyes (lack of melanin can cause light sensitivity and even sight issues) and cats whose injuries to the eye could conceivably not leave scar tissue on the eye itself, just to give a few examples, it’s a good idea to show a character without those tropes that is secure in themselves and their disability; it’s not a tragedy for us, it’s just our life!

with a bit of thought i think i'll tweak my crowflame design a bit--his more scarred side with remain a milkier color, but the side with less scarring will look as it did before. littleleaf's eyes will remain that milky color; they were always very pale. if there's a problem with any of that, let me know!
thank you!!! i do very much believe littleleaf is a very capable cat. hes one of the best hunters in the clan and he's incredibly smart, if a bit socially awkward. i too am rooting for littlemoor with my whole heart and soul
and YEA ravenshade is. very much just a shitty dude all around. he cares about his family so much but at the end of the day he's using his love for them as an excuse to get what he wants :3
