Babs Shelley plays against type #As a scheming femme fatale. William Sylvester is her blind composer husband and lovely Alexander davion her poor artist lover #With mark eden and liz shepherd rounding our main cast out. It's all quite contrived really and very twisty turny #Unfortunately the biggest of those twists is given away on the poster above (sorry but it was the best image i could find)#But like i say a great cast improves anything. They're all great but Davion is the standout for making his adulterous murderous #Character somehow one of the most sympathetic in the film. He's genuinely likeable and i just wanted him to get away from wicked babs'#Clutches. For a film so concerned with the music biz the score is nothing to write home about although a cameo by a young #Ronnie carroll is good fun. There are an inexplicably large number of thrillers about blind people being menaced and this is hardly #Wait Until Dark (or even See No Evil) but it was fun disposable kitsch
