This is Elizabeth. She’s about 1 year-old and blind. Elizabeth was left behind when her family moved out of San Francisco. A good neighbor brought Elizabeth to SF ACC, who in turn, contacted us…

3 years ago the most precious creature on the planet became mine. I love him when he's driving me nuts, when he's scraping on the shower curtain, when he wanders around pulling everything off the bottom shelves...and then walks away, when he drinks my drinks, and when he constantly steps on my hair. I wish I could explain the connection I feel with Henry but its as simple as he's my soul-cat. I don't know, some times look into those eyes with my mismatched pupils pointing in different directions and I feel like the person in there isn't a cat...I don't know how to explain that either. So I made an instagram for my blind kitten, Nooku because she’s heck of cute and is bringing me great comfort, which i think we all need right now. BLACK KITTEN FRIDAY!
This little cutie is about 3 months-old and coming in from San Jose on Sunday. He was at the SJ shelter for more that a month and no one wanted him. Well, we'll take care of that!
He’ll need both eyes enucleated, which Dr. Ada and her staff will take care of next week. Then, he'll be ready for adoption!

Ollie is 8 months-old and sponsored by Mayra Sanchez. SNAP Cats rescued Ollie from Stockton, CA. Ollie is a very sweet cat, once he gets to know you. Being blind, Ollie needs to feel comfortable with you first, then it’s lap time and belly rubs... and more belly rubs! Ollies eyes don’t bother him. He’s not in any pain, so we decided to not enucleate what’s left of his eyes until they become a problem. Hopefully that’ll never happen.

We just rescued two kittens from Solano County, Tipsy (yes we are) and Spunky (we’re thinking about it). Tipsy is, well, ataxic. Big surprise. Spunky has neurological challenges. We don’t have any good pictures yet, but you can see both at the links below:
