1 - Favorite Album

SHIT they’re all like..children almost so it’s hard to pick a real favorite. I think Kid A feels like the most complete and satisfying work to me though so I say that one even if I’m technically wishy-washy.

18 - When did you become a fan and how?

ooh! well I’m old enough to remember AOL forums and all the cool kids on the music boards would talk about Radiohead, so I tried without much luck to get into them then. The alternative radio station in town played them a lot and whenever I’d hear a song I liked it’d be them!! I was a big fan for awhile but college I think is when I really hit it full throttle my depressed ass relied on them so much

A Wolf at the Door

It took me ages to really get into that song, but I really like the aggressive, sort of defiant quality to it. I know it was written on the trains between Bath and Oxford because of some rich drunk dudes or something in the carriage and I can really imagine the kind of people they were, and that gives the song such a great edge to it. It like a song about a twisted fairytale and alongside There There I think it fits so brilliantly on HTTT. Something about it (lyrically) reminds me of Karma Police. Anyway 10/10 great song. Not necessarily in my top list of their discography but a brilliant song all the same and possibly underrated

Besides the recorded laugh tracks that are flat out used to tell you when to laugh, as far as I know (feel free to correct me) even in recordings with live audience it is possibly to ask the people there for specific reactions that they edit into the show later. in the end of the whose live tapings they definitely asked the audience to do gasps and stuff like that. but that may have a lot to do with the way whose line is shot.

99% Invisible recently did a podcast about the history of the laugh track (called "The Laff Box") that tries to answer that question.

And what also bugs me in laugh track sitcoms is when the audience goes “oooooooh!!” When 2 characters kiss, I hate that! It’s so annoying!

I think the laugh track is a cheap way for the show to say “insert laugh here” even if you didn’t think it was funny. It’s why I can’t stand those kinds of sitcoms anymore.

Thanks guys! Sorry, I should have said that they are live audiences that I’m talking about, but like Sirius said - perhaps they react as requested? It’s still weird as hell.

8: Best prank you pulled on someone?

I’ve never pulled a prank on anyone. I’d kind of forgotten about it until no, but I was on the receiving end of a very nasty online prank many years ago and I honestly don’t like them (although I never really have). Even like, putting salt in someone coffee instead of sugar is just kind of mean. Maybe it’s an only child thing

15: What has been your favorite thing that's happened to you so far this year?

There have been a few good things but I think @unfuckthereallife getting me into The Adventure Zone has really mean so much to me. It’s given me hope and made me feel so much and having someone to share all that with and talk about to has been absolutely amazing. Even thinking about my nan and life what the McElroys created with it has been helpful and comforting. 

37: Are you actually anything like your zodiac sign?

I’m a Sagittarius and I just googled our traits and I’m not really extroverted and I don’t much like change, but then sometimes I really relate to longer more detailed post and the memes so...I think we’re all very much like our zodiac signs and also not. Man if only this had been 38 cause Gillian Anderson? be my wife. Honestly though i think someone who knows me and zodiac signs would probably have to confirm or deny this lol

It’s so cute! What yarn weight did you use?

The head is worsted weight (Plymouth Galway, to be exact). The body was random yarn from just around, and seemed to be more of a DK weight. I used a 3.5mm needle.
