No stress to answer one way or another, but do you currently have plans to continue with bnha “bad luck is not my quirk I swear” now that the manga is finished? Or is it on the backburner or ?
Thank you for asking politely.
I have vague plans, yes, it is not abandoned and on my mind! (And I do still have the old outline so I will be able to pick it up with limited challenges)
Unfortunately for the BNHA fans following me, when I say vague plans I mean "I have a very long WIP list to get through, and Bad Luck is currently 4th or so, so who knows when I'll get around to it" (especially because I'm going to reward myself each time I write a chapter or two of a WIP by writing a oneshot lol)
Hey y’all, the few of you who follow/check this blog because of Bad Luck is Not My Quirk, I Swear!
So I haven’t written/posted anymore of that AU for a while because I realized the outline was wrong, but couldn’t figure out how to make it right. I have now figured out how to make it right and have now redone the outline!
Turns out, the problem was that I had two fics in one outline!
As such, this is now going to be a three part series instead of a two part. Which is good in terms of finishing this fic sooner, and bad in terms of how many titles I need to come up with lol
Also, for any Shinso fans, I’m sorry, but this change means he is now Sir Not-Appearing-In-This-Fic

Summary:
Izuku likes observing things around him, the world is too cool of a place for him to not. But it's kind of ridiculous how many villain attacks he keeps ending up involved in or finding. At his point he might as well start writing down his analysis, right? And maybe his battle plans? And maybe he should help that crying kid who obviously isn't used to this...
And yes, Eraserhead, you've asked many times, I don't search these out! I just have bad luck!
Basically an AU where Izuku has really bad luck and keeps getting involved in villain attacks, and that's why he starts keeping his journals and analyzing heroes/quirks so much... And then Eraserhead runs into him too many times and half-takes the kid under his wing because if this is going to keep happening, he should at least make sure the kid is prepared.
Izuku steps into the square denoted as the sparring area by a few cones, trembling a little.
Or at least, he hopes it was only a little. Too little to notice. No more than his sensei will allow before telling him to try again next week. He wants to spar today.
He’s really scared.
No. Not really. Really scared is when he considers doing this with a villain. Karuiko-chan is too friendly to scare him like a villain does. Even if they are supposed to fight.
Their sensei calls go and, true to personality, Karuiko-chan is darting in, energetic and rushing, and trying to punch him already. Izuku dodges, hand starting to come up in a block
By the time she throws her next punch, Izuku is in the spar enough to bring his block back into a guard, elbowing her hand out of the way.
Izuku hesitates for half of a second and so when he throws his punch, she already has her guard up to take the hit.
He shuffle-steps to the other side of the area when she throws a kick, too used to running as far as he can from anything he registers as an attack.
He takes a few glancing hits, but dodges most of them, and sometimes throws an attack that Karuiko-chan blocks easily.
He doesn’t know how well he’s doing based on this, because Karuiko-chan has been doing karate for a year longer than him and is two belts ahead as a result, not to mention is three years older. So he can’t tell if he’s supposed be losing this badly or not.
“Come on, Izu-kun!” Karuiko-chan breathes out as they continue to dance around each other, “We have pads. You don’t have to worry,” she stops to block another weak kick from him, “about hurting me.”
Izuku still doesn’t want to even act like he’s going to, but well… he’s here for a reason. He needs to be able to fight villains. Villains who won’t let him dodge out his nervousness. Who will be way bigger and stronger and faster than him for a long time.
“Ten more seconds. Then we need to switch out,” their sensei says from the side.
Izuku takes the deadline seriously and runs in as Karuiko-chan takes a step forward and throws a roundhouse kick.
Izuku feels his punch connect solidly, like it did on the pads, to Karuiko-chan’s stomach right before the kick sends him down to and across the floor.
He can’t breathe for a second, having the wind knocked out of him by the double impact of leg and ground, but Izuku finds he doesn’t care.
He stares up at the ceiling as he tries to breath in air, not caring about the glitter Karuiko-chan’s coughs are sending onto him, though distantly caring about making sure she’s not hurt, and smiles.
