My children (oldest M, youngest F) and I (F) moved into a hotel that was owned by my brother who became a ghost. My brother doesn't remember how he died, so I lied to him about his death thinking it's best if he doesn't know. Eventaully, I told him the truth after we argued on why I was avoiding to talk about his death on the 1 year anniversary of it. He was upset that I didn't tell him before. AITJ?
