Any Cooliver holiday headcannons?

ooo this is fun i haven’t written headcannons for them in so long!!

-cooper was raised Catholic and doesn’t really practice anymore but he still goes to christmas eve mass every year. after they start dating, oliver goes with him, and when they have their daughter she comes too, and they buy her one of those fancy little girl christmas dresses every year

-cooper always likes to pick a few angle tree kids and go all out on getting everything they put for their needs and wants

-in college, they spend one of their fall semesters studying abroad in germany, and they absolutely fall in love with german christmas markets so much that they make an effort to come back for them as many years as possible after that

-oliver wants like a super classy christmas tree with all white lights and aesthetic ornaments and cooper wants a fun colorful tree. they compromise by getting two trees every year. once they have kids, oliver accepts that the aesthetic might be too hard to keep up with and after that they stick with just the fun tree

-cooper HATES eggnog but every year he convinces himself that this is gonna be the year he loves it. then he takes one sip and decides that maybe it’ll be next year.

-cooper bakes so many christmas cookies. oliver brings a bunch to work bc there’s no way that just their family can consume all of the cookies he bakes

-mistletoe. it’s cooper’s idea to hang it up, but oliver will physically pull him under it sometimes.

-talking oliver into getting matching christmas pjs is cooper’s proudest accomplishment

-cooper loves the polar express. the art style freaks oliver out

-oliver loves home alone and is so shocked to learn that cooper has somehow never seen it. home alone 1&2 double feature ensues

-one year, cooper surprises oliver with tickets to see the nutcracker. they end up going every year after that
