While Jacob couldn’t deny that going into a party where the majority of the attendees were couples would make two lone men stand out, he didn’t quite think that Reno had to go for the whole package in blending in. They’ve worked with worse and this wasn’t really that bad. Besides, like Evie would probably point out, there’s always a work around and Jacob did always love finding ways to circumvent obstacles when he didn’t feel like facing them head on.
“We could always just find an open window. This place is huge, Red,” Jacob pointed out, pointing towards said building, letting his gaze roam over the visible rows of windows. It was a big place, the owner of it had too much money and they were clearly the type that had to flaunt their wealth in some kind of grandiose way. Like building a bloody huge mansion and throwing lavish parties. “So getting all dolled up isn’t really─” The brunet didn’t really pause but he rolled his eyes as soon as he noticed. “And you’re not there anymore.”
Glancing over his shoulder, he saw that he was alone in the alleyway and sighed loudly but didn’t stop the smirk that appeared. Jacob leaned back against the wall, arms crossed and put upon expression on his face. The man was almost as sneaky as his sister. It’d only taken him a few seconds to realize that Reno was no longer with him, he had Evie to thank for that odd sense he’d developed. The only difference was that when she did it he wouldn’t notice for a solid minute.
“I hope he realizes that he’s not going to be able to climb at all or run well in a dress,” He mumbled quietly to himself before glancing back towards the mansion and waited.
