UPDATE: This was meant to be posted on July 2024, but I moved onto other fandoms… so I was thinking to finish it so yeah. This art btw was made around 2024 as well. So here it is and the story!

Bowser rode his airship on the way to Fawful’s castle during the very dark moonrise in the sky to rescue Sheila from Fawful and Midbus. As he peered close to the view, he saw a long bridge that was above the icy lava by the cliffs with colorful spotlights attached underneath the bridge. Bowser flew closer and then caught sight of a huge castle that has a watermark of Fawful’s face. The Koopa king said,

“Perfect!”

Then, he announced to everyone,

“Alright, we’re here!”

Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Peach, Daisy, Marcos, Kamek, Junior, and the Koopalings both turned and caught sight of Fawful’s grandiose castle. It was nearly the same size of Bowser’s castle, but more showy than it.

“Whoa, would you look at that?” Kamek said,

“I think that must be where Fawful and Midbus took our queen.”

Junior was a bit worried as he shuddered a little bit, much to his adopted older siblings’ confusion.

“I’m frightened to go in here,” he said,

“What if this is still a trap caused by Lord Fawful and Midbus and Mama still won’t be saved?”

Larry reassured his little brother as he replied,

“Don’t say that, Junior, Dad is doing this for us. And with those Mario Bros. plumbers’ help as his trusted allies, there might be more amount of chance to save Mom.”

He patted him on the head and Junior smiled in agreement. As Bowser was about to park his airship by the edge of the cliff outside the castle, he noticed a female scream that caught everyone’s attention. He rode his airship and hid somewhere where he and his gang won’t be caught— nearly behind Fawful’s large castle on the left side of the cliff. Everyone caught sight of Fawful flying his UFO to the castle and then he hopped off.

“Midbus, come! This will be the ULTIMATE final battle and showdown for my revenge on that Koopa king! I’ve got chortles to make!”

Then, he ran inside the castle quickly. A thumping sound was heard from far, and a male voice called,

“Coming, Lord Fawful!”

Everyone peered close, and saw Midbus running very fast from the bridge, holding Sheila in his arms. They are in shock.

“SHEILA—“ Marcos shouted in fear, but Kamek suddenly covered his mouth in shock, as if to quiet him.

Hearing the sound, Midbus suddenly turned to his back to see if something was behind him. Sheila reached her paws out and cried out,

“BOWSER!! PLEASE HELP ME!”

Midbus then growled and deeply says,

“Bowser…”

Then, he continued running as Sheila cried out nonstop.

Bowser cried out to his queen,

“Sheila!”

Sheila’s voice were screaming the words out,

“Help! HELP!!”

Then, her voice faded as Midbus suddenly slams the door closed with Sheila in his arm. Bowser frowned with a growl, and found a place to park his airship.

As Bowser’s airship was parked outside, he and his children were about to go on their own until a hand touched Bowser’s palm, much to his confusion. He turned and it was Mario who held it. Luigi and Yoshi were alongside him.

“Let us-a help you again,” said Mario,

“We cannot lose-a hope.”

Bowser stared continuously in confusion. Luigi and Yoshi both nodded kindly. Bowser glared but then nodded.

“I’ll trust you to not mess it up this time. Because if you did, then there will be serious consequences for you three to face,” he lowly snarled, shocking Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi.

Luigi and Yoshi are in fear while hiding behind Mario who stood up bravely. Bowser then calmed down. As the four started to head inside the castle, they were stopped by Peach, Daisy, Marcos, and Kamek.

“Sire, let me come with you this time,” Kamek said,

“I don’t want anything bad happen to a king like you and my grandchildren.”

Gesturing to Junior and the Koopalings, he was very concerned. Bowser nodded at Kamek’s words and replied,

“Teamwork. You’re in.”

Kamek grinned and flew his broom next to the king.

Peach was holding Mario’s hands and she sadly says,

“Be careful, Mario. Please promise me you’ll never get hurt?”

Mario smiles and replies,

“Don’t-a worry, Princess Peach. Me, my bro, and Yoshi will be careful. We’ll take-a down my arch nemesis’s enemies once and-a for all and save-a his loved-a one, our beloved-a friend.”

Peach smiles gently, leans down and kisses Mario on the forehead, making him blush.

“Please be careful, Luigi,” said Daisy,

“Promise you’ll come back and bring mine and Peach’s bestie?”

Luigi gently replies while holding Daisy’s hands,

“Princess-a Daisy, no need to-a worry. We’ll rescue-a Sheila, too. We won’t-a let anything-a bad happen to-a her.”

Daisy smiles and she hugs him tightly, causing him to blush. Mario, Peach, and Yoshi smiled in awe. Soon after, Daisy kissed Luigi on the cheek. After that, Luigi left with Mario and Yoshi to follow the Koopas into saving Sheila. A male voice suddenly said,

“Wait!”

Mario, Luigi, and the Koopas turned to see Marcos with a stoic look on his face. He said,

“Please, rescue my daughter without any harm. She deserves better.”

Everyone stared, but Marcos suddenly runs over and hugs Bowser, causing everyone to stare in gape. The wolf king said, with tears forming in his eyes,

“And if you find Sheila, bring her home. To your kingdom. For the Spirit Animal Kingdom as a favor.”

Then, breaking the hug, Marcos added,

“I’m more than proud to call you my son-in-law.”

Hearing that sentence, Bowser allowed his tears to form in his eyes. He felt a heartwarming feeling inside his body for being called that. Kamek, Junior, the Koopalings, Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Peach, and Daisy were both awed that Marcos and Bowser are both having a father-son relationship.

Seconds went by Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi were following Bowser and his gang to Fawful’s castle with its door shut. Bowser looked at the door, knocked on it cautiously, and much to everyone’s surprise, the doors open slowly. Everyone was now relieved with a sigh.

“Hold on, Shelley,” whispered Bowser,

“We’re coming!”

He and his gang ran inside the castle with Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi until the doors were slowly closed shut. Peach, Daisy, and Marcos waited outside next to Bowser’s airship, watching with hope that Sheila will be saved.

Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Bowser, Kamek, Junior, and the Koopalings both looked at the hallway of the castle in astonishment. They could see the statues of Fawful next to each column and especially colorful spotlights around the room. As footsteps are heard, they ran quickly and hid behind the column, just to see the guards walking down on the lookout.

“Lord Fawful must’ve ordered everyone on the look out for the wolf queen,” one of the guards said.

“But what about the Koopas and the little humans?” asked the other.

“Forget them,” he replied,

“Lord Fawful gave Midbus the trust to be sure that the wolf queen doesn’t escape from this place.”

Bowser heard the talking and that gave him an idea.

“What is it, Lord Bowser?” whispers Kamek.

The Koopa King turned and whispered out,

“I’ve got a plan: Kamek, you help Mario, Luigi, you and Yoshi try to distract the guards if they caught us; Junior, we will go meet up with Fawful and Midbus and earn the opportunity to rescue Sheila without being caught as possible. Understand?”

“Yes!” everyone whispered in response.

“Good. Now let’s go!” whispers Bowser as he started to take the lead.

As their footsteps are heard, one of the guards turned around to see who it was. However, there was no one here. As the guard shrugged, he whispered to the others,

“Let’s just go and have others go on a search party.”

The other guard replied,

“Right.”

Then, as they left the area, Bowser, his gang, the Mario Bros., and Yoshi both sighed in relief and then tiptoed quietly to the luxurious doors which now opened for them to come inside, and then closed them in.

Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Bowser, Kamek, Junior, and the Koopalings both walked into the grandiose room, but to see the room that was like a balcony outside of the castle. They watched their steps until then one of the other guards caught sight of them.

“INTRUDERS!” he shouted, causing the other guards to approach,

“Get them!”

They charged at Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Bowser, Kamek, Junior, and the Koopalings who both got into defense mode. They charged back and started attacking the guards as the others appear to be multiple amounts of guards approaching. As they were about to strand the Mario Bros. and the Koopas, Kamek used his wand to stop Fawful’s guards from doing it. He yelled in warning,

“Hurry, sire! This is your chance!”

Mario called out to Bowser,

“Go, King-a Bowser! Get-a your children to get going-a to save-a Sheila! HURRY!”

Bowser nodded rapidly and had, Junior, and the Koopalings follow him as Kamek, Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi are being stranded by the guards. They showed no signs of fear.

Bowser, Junior, and the Koopalings ran quickly into the balcony to find Sheila.

“Sheila!” called Bowser,

“Sheila, where are you, my queen?!”

As they suddenly stopped in the middle of the balcony, they were standing on a bridge in confusion. A loud slam was heard as Bowser, Junior, and the Koopalings turned. The gate was closed behind them. They felt signs of caution and continued walking on the bridge, watching their step without looking down at the icy lava falling from the cliff and even flowing by them.

“Help me!” called a female voice in echo.

Hearing the call, Bowser, Junior, and the Koopalings both have suddenly came to a stop as they spotted Lord Fawful and Midbus menacingly waiting for them with Sheila trapped in her cage that was dangling above.

“Mama!” called Junior in relief.

He, Bowser, and the Koopalings made their way and stopped a few feet away. Sheila gasped quietly in gape and cried out,

“Bowser!”

Fawful laughed with chortles evilly as Midbus laughed evilly too,

“Muh, muh, muh!”

“Welcome, to OUR FINAL SHOWDOWN!” Fawful cackled,

“We’ve awaited you into getting our revenge and payback!”

The Koopalings got their wands ready as Junior got his paintbrush ready while flying on his clown car. Bowser sneered with a fierce growl,

“You know something? Yes, I DID crash your wedding because I don’t want you taking Sheila away from me, Fawful. And as for you Midbus, she will never marry an obese fraud of a pig like you.”

Midbus growled, punching his fists. He replied,

“Oh, it’s definitely on. With you down and crushed to death, your queen will cry, and sometime you will after you lose. And by that, the wedding will still continue on.”

“This wedding is CANCELLED,” said Bowser,

“And you’re never getting away with this as long as King Marcos will hunt someone who EVER harms his daughter like my queen.”

Fawful glares while unamused, but he grins menacingly and starts chortling. Midbus stepped up onto the bridge as Bowser stepped up to him, but not that close. Midbus snorted as Bowser growled with flames flared from his nostrils.

“Lord Fawful, leave him to me. You deal with his assistants as teamwork,” Midbus told Fawful.

“Very well then!” Fawful responded with a menacing smile and took out his powerup gun,

“Midbus, POWERUP!”

He blasted the power onto Midbus, causing Bowser, Kamek, Junior, and the Koopalings to stand back a little bit. Sheila whimpered as she stepped back in her cage. Midbus crouched as he closed his eyes shut with the power surrounding him. His back became gold and furry, and his pink skin changed into light blue, and his wrist collars changed into spiked collars— related to those Bowser and the 6 male Koopalings were wearing. Appeared on Midbus’s head was a gold crown.

Midbus unfolded his arms as the ice power blasted out in appearance. Then, he smiled menacingly, sneering,

“Call me Blizzard Midbus. Prepare to feel the hot wrath of my icy blizzard powers! Soon your adventures will FOREVER END! Muh, muh, muh!”

Blizzard Midbus laughed manically as he punched his fists, ready to fight Bowser who growled and said,

“Let’s take it here, shall we?”

Then, he let out a roar, with fire particles flying from his flaming mouth. Midbus lets out a roar that sounded like a wild warthog. Then, the two began fighting.

Junior yelled out to the Koopalings,

“CHARGE!”

Junior and the Koopalings both let out a battle cry, waving their weapons high and running to fight Fawful who smiles menacingly, using his powerup gun on himself, now preparing the dark powers.

“This is gonna be fun,” he sneered and then…

💥 POW! 💥

Fawful unfolds his arms and the star power blasted out, and he now had his same uniform, but styled in a powerful and colorful superstar form. Junior, and the Koopalings are in shock at Fawful’s new form.

“I’ve gotten the power of the stars I’ve snatched from each of the blocks, and I even had the powerful one for Midbus in case he falls… NOW LET’S FIGHT!” cried Fawful between his manic chortles.

Junior, and the Koopalings then got into war mode, still going to attack Fawful.

As the fight began, the Koopalings are both using their wands to blast out magic while attacking Fawful, and Junior was using his paintbrush to distract him either. On the contrary, Bowser was using his fire breath and powerful punches and Midbus was using his punches, snowball powers and especially ice breath as they all fight, much to Sheila’s worry.

Meanwhile…

Kamek, Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi are fighting off Fawful’s guards, but they are suddenly stranded. The lead guard shouted,

“Surrender now!”

Mario showed no fear as Luigi hid behind his brother for protection. Yoshi was whimpering in fear. Kamek was getting his wand ready in defense.

“You have five seconds to drop your weapons!” the lead guard continued and then started counting,

“One!”

Mario and Luigi hid their fire flowers behind their arms as Yoshi gave them those from behind. They were all staring at Fawful’s army.

“Two!” the lead guard counted again,

“Three!”

Kamek clenched onto his wand as its magic started to flow around the top. Mario and Luigi clenched their fire flowers, attempting to use them.

“Four!” the lead guard yelled, attempting to count the final number.

Kamek clenched his teeth and raised his wand high with magic surrounding it.

“NOW!” he yelled to the Mario Bros.

Mario and Luigi used the fire flower powerups and then got their fireballs ready. Fawful’s lead guard and his army looked in shock. Kamek electrocuted each army members with his wand, causing them to yelp in pain. Mario and Luigi blasted fireballs at them as well. Yoshi, on the other hand, used his tongue to eat one of the army members and place them in his egg. He threw his egg on the army members who cried out in pain.

The lead guard looked shocked and whimpered as he stood back.

“It’s over,” Kamek said,

“The queen is ours.”

The lead guard cried in panic,

“Okay, you win! You win! You got me this time, but please don’t hurt me.”

The Mario Bros. shook their heads as Kamek replied furiously,

“I wouldn’t consider that.”

Mario turned to Yoshi and asked,

“Yoshi?”

Yoshi angrily nodded with a hiss and got close the the lead guard who whimpered while crawling back. Then, he cried out as he ran away, but Yoshi ended up swallowing him with his tongue, sealing him up. Yoshi gulped and rubbed his belly with a smile.

“Yoshi…” he said.

Mario, Luigi, and Kamek stared in confusion.

“That was kinda disturbing,” Kamek said.

“Oh, well,” Luigi replied as he gestured to the army members who were unconscious in pain,

“At least-a they were-a knocked out. And he won’t have to-a worry about-a them anymore.”

“You’re right-a, Luigi,” replied Mario,

“So we probably-a need to-a check on-a Bowser and-a his kids if they-a rescued-a Sheila. Now let’s-a-go!”

“Okie-dokie!” Luigi agreed.

“Yoshi!” added Yoshi in agreement.

“Right,” Kamek replied as he got on his broom and flew to where Bowser and his children are at since the door is opened.

Mario rode on Yoshi, following Kamek there as Luigi followed, too.

The fight between the Koopas and Fawful alongside Blizzard Midbus kept going as Fawful used his super star power to pin down Junior and the Koopalings and he did so. Junior and the Koopalings both cried out in fear as Bowser turned to see them being almost defeated by Fawful.

“Junior!” he gasped in shock, but was suddenly held by the throat.

Blizzard Midbus held Bowser in his grasp and chuckled evilly.

“I’d love to see you suffer as your kids lose by Lord Fawful, and you’ll have no family once I take the wolf queen with me.”

Fawful looks at Midbus in evil glee as he turned to the Koopalings to blast out his star power at them. Junior and the Koopalings yelped in fear and took cover.

“NO!” Bowser yelled in shock, but then growled at Blizzard Midbus, and then elbowed him on the side.

Blizzard Midbus yelled in pain, holding onto his side as Bowser broke free and breathed our fire, startling Fawful who turned in shock.

“Huh?!” he asked in shock as Bowser held onto Fawful with a growl.

“Chew on this, little squirt!” the Koopa King yelled and threw Fawful— who yelped— onto Blizzard Midbus who tried to catch himself from a fall from off the bridge.

Fawful was unconscious as a familiar voice yelled out,

“YOOOSSSSHHHHHIIIII!!!”

Everyone turned and saw Kamek with the Mario Bros. and Yoshi.

“We’re-a coming!!!” cried the Mario Bros. in unison as they all ran.

Bowser ran over to his children quickly to give the four space.

“Papa!” Junior cried in relief as he and the Koopalings are in fear.

“Daddy’s got you,” replied Bowser soothingly.

“Sire!” Kamek yelled as he flew to Bowser, relived that he’s okay.

Luigi patted Mario on the back and said,

“Go for it, bro!”

Mario nodded as he continued riding on Yoshi. Luigi ran over to the Koopa family to be sure everyone’s okay. All of a sudden, Blizzard Midbus finally caught himself from a fall and got balanced. He glared his evil eyes at Bowser and his children who are in shock.

“Nice try, Koopa!” Blizzard Midbus snarled and was about to attack Bowser once again.

All of a sudden, Mario yelled,

“Here we go!!!!”

Then, he held onto Yoshi who yelled out and kicked Blizzard Midbus on the stomach. Blizzard Midbus felt woozy and unconscious as he fell off the bridge. He could be heard yelling out from below in echo.

💥 CRASH! 💥

"Yoshi!" said Yoshi in triumph.

"Nice-a work, Yoshi!" Mario said proudly.

Sheila sighed in relief as she watched from the cage. Bowser, Kamek, and the Koopalings all cheered in victory. Luigi cheered excitedly,

“Hooray, Mario!”

Then, everyone looked at Sheila who smiled slowly. Bowser walked over and grinned with a lovely gaze. Sheila gazed lovingly at Bowser.

But all of a sudden, as the cage budges, Sheila gasped in confusion, causing Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Bowser, Kamek, and the Koopalings to look in confusion. Then, the cage moves up, causing Sheila to yelp in fear.

“Sheila!” cried Bowser.

As he and everyone tried to reach out to her, a straining voice was heard from behind. They saw Fawful gaining consciousness.

“You think you can win over me?!” growled Fawful,

“There is still a final part of the showdown you’ll be facing!”

He hopped onto his UFO and shouted once again,

“This ain’t over yet, Bowser! I WILL come for you and I always will! You hear me?! This is NOT over!”

Then, he chortled while flying away.

Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Bowser, Kamek, and the Koopalings look in disbelief.

“What now?” asked Kamek.

“How do we get all the way up there?” questioned Ludwig.

“I do have my clown car,” Junior said,

“But I can’t leave anyone behind!”

“Me neither,” Kamek added,

“I have my broom, but I’m not leaving anyone behind too.”

All of a sudden, a crashing sound was heard from behind. The blocks of stone bricks were falling by each stack. Kamek used his wand to hold them magically.

“Stairs,” Iggy said,

“They can be used as stairs!”

“Great work, Kamek and Iggy,” said Bowser,

“Let’s go!”

Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and the Koopalings nodded while following Bowser by the stone brick stairs. As they reached up there, Kamek released the stone bricks from his magic and followed along.

Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Bowser, Kamek, and the Koopalings reached to the upper floor level and spotted Sheila still in her cage. She cried out,

“Please! Help me!”

Then, the cage was lifted back up and Sheila wasn’t seen in the floor level again. Fawful came with his flying UFO and approached Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Bowser, Kamek, and the Koopalings. He took out a powerup gun, announcing,

“Alrighty! This is your FINAL part of this showdown we’re having for my unfinished revenge. I HAVE CHORTLES!”

Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Bowser, Kamek, and the Koopalings stared as Fawful continued on,

“With that superstar power from my gun, Blizzard Midbus will AWAKEN to a ginormous size, and he will CRUSH you all to your deaths!”

Then, Fawful cackled as he flew around the room, shooting the superstar powerup to below. After that, he flew back in his position. Then, everything started to rumble like an earthquake.

Fawful was confused, and so were Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Bowser, Kamek, and the Koopalings.

“Moi?” Fawful asked, staring down clearly as everything continued to rumble.

Suddenly, seconds later, a GIGANTIC figure jumped out from below with a roaring squeal. It knocked out Fawful who cried out in fear. Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Bowser, Kamek, and the Koopalings both stared in shock, realizing who it was. It was Blizzard Midbus, but in his huge colossal superstar form!

Super Blizzard Midbus roared loudly at Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Bowser, Kamek, and the Koopalings, feeling hyped to crush them with his giant size.

“Are you seeing what I’m seeing?” Wendy asked in fear.

Lemmy was whimpering behind Iggy for protection. Iggy whispered,

“That is unsettling.”

Roy growled as he got his wand ready, so did Morton, since they are roughhouses. Ludwig showed no fear as well.

“MUH, MUH, MUH!!!” Super Blizzard Midbus laughed evilly in a loud, chaotic, echoey voice,

“You have now faced your ULTIMATE enemy, which is I, Super Blizzard Midbus, who has gotten the power of the stars, and ALL YOUR JOURNEY ENDS HERE, NOW!!! MUH, MUH, MUH, MUH, MUH!!!!!!”

“What do we do?!” Larry cried in shock,

“What do we do?!”

Bowser didn’t answer, but as he saw Super Blizzard Midbus about to reach his hand to hit him and the others, Bowser shouted,

“RUN!!!”

Mario, Luigi, Yoshhi, Kamek, Junior, and the Koopalings screamed as they followed Bowser, running for their lives.

Super Blizzard Midbus snorted his icy cold smokes from his nostrils and shouted,

“And where do you think you’re going?!”

Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Bowser, and his gang are both running as quickly as they can by each floor level to find Sheila and also something that can defeat Super Blizzard Midbus.

A few minutes went by and by until they have reached nearly the highest floor level which leads to a castle balcony.

“Up there!” Junior cried,

“We’re almost here!”

“Come on!” shouted Ludwig,

“Keep going!”

Everyone were climbing onto the last floor, but Super Blizzard Midbus swung his arm down and slammed Bowser with his hand. Bowser cried in pain as he felt the pressure.

“Not so fast!” shouted Super Blizzard Midbus.

Junior turned and shouted,

“PAPA!”

Everyone turned around in shock and gasped. Kamek called in panic,

“Sire!”

Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi are in shock, but Yoshi frowned and hatched an idea. he took something from his back and revealed to the Mario Bros. extra pair of the superstar powerups. Mario and Luigi grabbed the superstar powerups, stared at each other, nodded and…

ZAP!

The particles zapped like magic, revealing Mario and Luigi in their invincible superstar forms. From the last obstacle, Yoshi and the royal Koopa family looked in awe. The Mario Bros. hurriedly ran to where Bowser is, grabbed a hold of Super Blizzard Midbus’s huge hand, and threw it away strongly. His hand headed straight to his face and…

WHAM!

Super Blizzard Midbus yelled in pain as he held onto his face that was smacked. Then, the Mario Bros., still in their superstar forms, grabbed a hold of Bowser— who was weak from being nearly crushed by Super Blizzard Midbus’s huge hand— and headed to the last obstacle. Their superstar forms lasted quickly and it turned them back to normal, making them lose invincibility. However, Sheila— seen from the last obstacle in her cage, sees Bowser in pain while by the Mario Bros., Yoshi, and the Koopa family.

“Bowser!!!” she cried out.

Suddenly, Super Blizzard Midbus roared as he jumped towards the last obstacle where everyone was at. He raised his huge fist, ready to make a kill out of them. Both the Mario Bros., Yoshi, and the Koopa family gasp in shock, but as Mario saw the huge button that was next to him, he frowned and immediately rushed there. Luigi turned to Mario in shock.

“Mario, wait—!” Luigi shouted, but it was too late to recall as Mario jumped towards the button and…

Ding!

He pressed the huge button! Everyone then looked at Super Blizzard Midbus who stopped what he was doing.

“Huh? What…?!” He asked and looked around to see what was going on.

Suddenly, something below him has occurred. Super Blizzard Midbus looked down and gasped in shock. He was about to fall! Super Blizzard Midbus screamed and ROARED loudly in agony as he started to sink and fall down.

CRASH!

A loud rumbling thud came from below. Midbus has gone down, defeated. Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Kamek, Junior, and the Koopalings both both looked at each other, smiled, and cheered together in victory. But however, they turned to Bowser, and were upset at what happened to him; then, they checked on him.

On the contrary, the cage door opens from below and Sheila slowly lands on the ground, causing Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Kamek, Junior, and the Koopalings to look at her in relief and happiness. Sheila saw what happened, and was in shock to see Bowser in a critical condition.

“Bowser!” she cried out and rushed over to him.

Sheila shook him gently and begged,

“B— Bowsy, please wake up… I’m here…”

She checks for his pulse, but not even a single movement or a heartbeat can be heard. Sheila was in tears and begs one last time.

“Please… wake up! I need you… I love you!”

Then, she lays herself on Bowser’s side and lets out a cry. Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi are both upset but they show condolences for Sheila and hang their heads low. Junior stares in shock, slowly touches Kamek from behind, hugs him, and starts crying for his father. Kamek slowly pulls Junior into a hug and comforts him sadly. The Koopalings were both shedding tears, but they weren't as sad as Sheila was.

All of a sudden, Bowser starts coughing, catching everyone’s attention. He slowly regains consciousness and sees Sheila by her side, groaning,

“Shelley…?”

Sheila stares in confusion, and was in happy tears after seeing Bowser finally awake. She hugs him with a tearful laugh, and he returned the hug. Kamek smiles and says in relief,

“Sire…”

“Dad!” Junior and the Koopalings cried in relief.

They went over to hug Bowser. Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi both smiled in relief. Sheila said to Bowser,

“I thought I’d lost you… I’m so glad you’re okay.”

Bowser smiles in relief and replies,

“And I’m so glad you’re safe.”

Smiling wider, Sheila helps Bowser get back on his feet as he finally stands up thanks to her help. Bowser looks at Sheila for a moment and hesitantly but surely offers his hand. Sheila smiles while covering her mouth with a joyful grin and she takes Bowser’s hand.

“Aww!” The Mario Bros., Yoshi, and the Koopa family said in awe.

Bowser and Sheila gazed at each other, smiling. Sheila was the first to speak as she said,

”I just wanted to tell you ‘thank you’ for saving me.”

Sheila then kissed him on the snout as Bowser blushed red, but then smiled.

Then, they hugged each other in a tight embrace. It was bliss. Bowser slowly leans in for a kiss, but Sheila quickly kisses him on the lips. This caused her to have Bowser end up shedding tears of love and happiness as he returned the kiss.

The Mario Bros., Yoshi, and the Koopa family both cheered in happiness at that moment.

After the kiss broke, Bowser and Sheila looked at each other again with their eyes.

“Mama Sheila!” Junior and the Koopalings cried out as they both hug Sheila, happy to have their stepmother back.

Sheila grins and returns the hug. Kamek was also relieved.

Bowser, Kamek, Junior, and the Koopalings turned to the Mario Bros. and Yoshi.

“Thanks guys,” Bowser said to them,

“It’s such a pleasure to have y’all help us rescue Sheila.”

“Yoshi!” Yoshi replies back.

“It’s a way of saying you’re-a welcome,” Luigi added.

“Well? Let’s-a go! Let’a-a get out of here,” Mario said.

Everyone nods as they left Fawful’s castle in ruins and waste.
