Happy Mario day, in celebration, I made something that has nothing to do with Mario the man himself lol, here's a cool Gorillaz album cover of the four main AlphaDream villains.
So, who do you think that mysterious evil trying to capture the sisters for their power is?
I didn't include any of the Paper Mario villains because I feel they should be part of their own universe.

something I like about the Mario RPGs are how hilariously horrifying the villains can be under non children’s game context
I could go into depth about how Antasma is underused but have you noticed that this is a vampire, thousands of years old, that sucks people’s souls out through their dreams, this is a soul eating monster in a Mario game
Princess Shroob has ordered so much horrific things, slowly and painfully sucking the life from Toads in the Vim Factory, everything done to Yoshi’s Island and Yoob, feeding Peach to Peaty Piranha for entertainment, violently decimating towns and killing civilians, in a Mario game
The Shadow Queen is an Ancient conqueror, she laid siege to all of ancient Rougeport and probably kingdoms before it, she had anyone who disobeyed her executed, she’s literally called an incredible ancient demon in game, mauled Grodus to the brink of death on screen, and also eats peoples souls
The Dark Star is an ancient piece of endless darkness that has one goal, extinguishing all life, it makes it clear that it wants everything suffocating and dead, it wouldn’t stop rampaging destroying everything until it’s dead
The Chaos Heart is a universal reset switch and the Dark Prognosticus corrupts people’s minds to summon it, praying on Blumiare’s weak mental state or Dimentio’s insanity, not just the universe but the very concept of reality is gone, you can’t travel anywhere no matter how far everything will cease to be, time travel to escape it? Yeah no it erases time too
Reclusa, oh Reclusa, no beating around the bush this guy is a GOD, it’s existed before the ancient times, can’t really die because every 1000 years it’s reborn, ceaselessly uncaring for life, he destroys and breaks every world he goes to until there isn’t anything left, he has done this before to so so so many worlds as well, he puts people in uncanny perfect world bubbles while their real bodies starve to death, he won’t be satisfied until everything is a smouldering pile of ash
