I think I finally figured out my storage situation. A Tupperware seasonal storage box and some custom cardboard sections. I'm gonna separate my herbs,books, candles and oils on one side and then leave a big space for curing oils and waters. I'm gonna make a false bottom so I can place my fabrics and stuff on top and it's gonna look just like a craft box (get it?)
My face when people tell my bd how lucky he is to not have a crazy bm. But the gag is they don't know I keep his personal concerns just in case he tries to act up.

First of all happy New Year loves! Secondly for those of us preparing to go back to school this semester I have a suggestion.
Last semester I placed all of my professors in a honey jar at the beginning of the semester. I cut out their names from the syllabi they handed out and I covered them with honey, gravel root, cinimon and ginger (I make everything extra spicy).
Y'all I got extensions that I wasn’t supposed to and was even let into my final exam after the instructor locked the door. Do yourselves and your gpa a favor and put your teachers in a jar.

Why Do We Eat Each Other Alive? (Rant + Shop Update)
I've been told that I'm to “new” to my spiritual journey to open a store. I've been told that asking others what they would appreciate in a store is an unacceptable form of market reaserch.
When did it become okay to look down on others practices? This dog eat dog mentality is exactly why most hoodoo shops are no longer owned by POC, we attack each other instead of uplifting.
I also feel like pricing is a huge reason why LM is so prolific but you have to search for ages on etsy to find an affordable Black-owned hoodoo shop. If my money is short why would I spend $15+ on a bottle of money drawing oil?
And now for the update Ever Oils and Curio Co. is still rolling out in early November. Everything will be under $30. Fixed candles will be around $10, oils $8, and herb mixes and powders will be between $3-5. The most expensive things will be mojos and mojo candle burning combo packs.
I want my store to be a safe and affordable place for broke college student, single parents struggling to make ends meet and anyone who's been wanting to practice but hasn't had the financial means to.
