Open the window closest to your bed, and shake out your covers.

Completely changing your bedding is great, but I know it takes a lot of spoons to do that.

Shake your covers, beat your pillows, beat and brush off crumbs from your sheet.

This should clear up stagnant energy from your sleeping space and clear up your head!

To preserve sage for native practice, is there an alternative to white sage that non-native people's can start to use? I'm new and I've used sage quite a bit in preparing spaces/cleansing crystals

Literally, any other popular herb that you can grow at home. Lavender is a favorite because it smells so good. You can use flowers as well. There are also plenty of variants of sage, there are honestly too many to name. It doesn’t have to be white.

Tala’s Love Drought Spell

The purpose of this spell is to aid in bringing passion and intimacy back into a relationship that has dried up. Of course there are other steps to take in repairing a relationship, but this spell shall help with confidence and reconnecting to your divine feminine/masculine energies.

What You Will Need:

The Lovers tarot card (I paired this with the Love and Lust cards from the Thoth deck but they are just optional. The Lovers will do just fine.)

Love Drought by Beyoncé (to listen to while performing the spell.)

6 tea light candles

A pink candle (or any colour you associate with love, lust, and sex)

Glass bowl

Dried rose petals

Sugar

Paprika

Black pepper

Cinnamon

Small jar

Rose & Clear Quartz

Carnelian

Hematite

What To Do:

For this spell, you will need space to move, not too much, just enough to sway back, forth, and side to side. When you have found your space, sit on the ground with your legs crossed and place your glass bowl in front of you.

Place The Lovers card above the bowl on the ground, then surround both objects with your tea light candles. Set your stones down however you’d like around your tarot card or bowl. Then light your tea lights.

Start playing ‘Love Drought,’ either once or on repeat. I kept it on repeat because I performed this spell slower than the time of the actual song. You really want to go at your own pace with this spell, you should focus on your intentions to increase the connection between you and your partner, and to restore your sex life with them. Whatever has been holding the both of you back from being your best intimate self, throw it out the window as you start this spell, our energies need to be genuinely passionate and that can’t happen if we are holding grudges on our sex lives.

Begin by pouring a little bit of sugar into your bowl. As you pour the sugar, think of the sweet and soft touch of your partners lips on your body, whether it be all over, or just on your lips, let this thought linger as you continue the spell. We will add more to this as we go along.

Add Cinnamon and Paprika to your sugar. These two ingredients will represent the fiery passion that comes with a nice little make-out session, and the addictive heat of intercourse. Think of actions or positions that turn you on when you and your partner have intimacy, accompany that thought with the sugary sweet thought you just had, let them become one, and increase the feeling of love and passion growing within.

Now you can add your dried rose petals and black pepper. Gently mix all of your ingredients together, then pour them into your jar and close it. You may now place the pink candle on top of the jar and light it so the wax melts and seals the jar, or you may use whatever method you prefer to wax seal your jar!

When your jar is sealed, meditate a little while longer on the intent of your spell and imagine it working it’s magic on your life in this moment, not in the future. I personally believe that your spells manifest quicker when you focus solely on your intentions and bringing it into your life instantly rather than gradually. Feel the passion, feel the sensual energy just flowing through you as you move your body in unison and when you feel that the spell is complete, blow out your candles and clean up your work space, placing your lovely little spell jar on a bedside table or drawer near your bed.

That concludes this spell! This is my second personal spell posted here on tumblr and I hope you all truly enjoy (I received so much love with my first spell, you all are so amazing!). As always, you may change the ingredients as you see fit, these are just the ingredients that were available to me and resonated with me the most. I’d also like to point out that this spell alone won’t help your sex life improve completely, however, the actions you take after the spell has been performed will. Whenever you feel under the weather or not your best sexual self, you can channel the energy from the jar you just created to aid you.
