☽ Do you like writing angst? Why or why not?
The last time I answered this, I was all for writing angst. Now, I’m just kinda meh about it. It hits too close to home for me. Having a character who will occasionally bug out and need a quiet space and a breather was nice; being somebody who occasionally bugs out and needs a quiet space and a breather is significantly less interesting.
♨ What's a muse that you wished had lasted, but didn't?
Crows, I had to go into my saved threads folder for this. Gonna say Looker, who I played for about a week somewhere else before a number of factors contributed to a less-than-cordial departure. Unfortunately, the surrounding miasma of BS spoiled the muse for me, and it never quite returned in the same form. He still comes knocking, but more as a wacky master-of-disguise type than basically Pokemon!Fox Mulder.
♪♩♫ Does music inspire your muse? What's one song on your playlist that reminds you of your muse?
For Calem, “You’re Gonna Go Far, Kid” by the Offspring. There was a measure of . . . I’m not sure. Something about it resonates with the headspace I need to start writing him.
For Amaranth, it was “One More Night” by Maroon Five, but it quickly lost its allure and I’m trying to find something else. It gets me there, but in the white-knuckle “not quite but close enough” way.
