i think we should start talking about how GENUINELY important tomodachi life: living the dream is to gaming.
we get a game with MANY black hairstyles, and especially now, this is so cool!!! black people have been restricted to limited hairstyles for so long, and it makes me happy to see people get excited over the fact that they can look like them in game.
we also get a game where YOU CAN CHOOSE TO BE NON BINARY. and YOU DON'T USE PRONOUNS THAT ARE "NORMAL" FOR YOUR GENDER. i'm transmasc but I still use she/her, and being able to use she/her while still having my gender be male? SO COOL.
AND WE GET TO DATE MORE THAN ONE GENDER! OR NONE AT ALL! AROMANTIC REP! PAN REP! BI REP! it's amazing! i've never seen a game this inclusive of so many people before!
you also DON'T HAVE TO BUY THE NEW SWITCH TO PLAY IT. and there's no features locked behind the switch 2 version! YAY!!
and it's POPULAR. other games WILL see this and add more diversity in their games.
