Ay y'all remember when white ppl was literally going out into our hoods w ulterior motives to call random Black People thingd that sounded like the n word for nb ppls entertainment on YouTube? To harass them basically w their favorite slur & calling it “pranking”? Cus white ppl don't lol. Fuck that “ally” bullshit, y'all be forgetful af😂 fuck them crackers.
Some friendly reminders about BTS officially coming out in support:
-They have always, and I trust as an army that they always will, spoken about and stood for unity, love and being true to yourself and condemned hatred and oppression. Love Yourself and loving others will always be at the core of them and us as army
-I have no doubt they were donating behind the scenes but if they had spoken out earlier, they would have been trending instead of the movement and the praising of their actions would have drowned out the voices we're supposed to be amplifying
-This is probably the same reason they won't tell us how much they've donated, at least for now because we all know the papers will jump on that and this isn't about them
-Despite all this, black armys- and any armys- who were upset and spoke out about BTS' apparent silence up until now are fully justified in their feelings and no one else has the right to tell them how to feel.
-Now is not the time to say 'I told you so'
-As excited as a lot of us are about this, don't let it distract us. BTS know we love them, let's spend our time and energy supporting and amplifying the movement and its voices because this isn't over just because our favs said something on twitter
-I purple you all, we're stronger together 💜

How to Be a Better Ally
I know that my blog has been pretty quiet recently, but I did want to post a few reflections from the past week. Last Sunday, I attended a protest at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. I learned a great deal about history and social inequality and, for that, I am grateful. Thank you, Black community, for teaching to me a better ally.
Here are some takeaways:
Your single positive experience with the police does not negate the negative, and often fatal, experiences of many.
As an Asian, I am privileged. As a cisgender woman, I am privileged. Instead of shaming myself for benefiting from a racist, unjust system, I need to take that privilege and use it. Good allies aren’t here to talk for the Black community. They’re here to create space for the Black community to speak on their own.
I may understand what it’s like to live in a prolonged state of hyper-vigilance, but I do not wear a target on my skin. I do not carry it with me the way that black people do. I will never understand what it is like to be black, but I can learn to empathize and work to be better.
“It’s not our fight” is bullshit. It’s everyone’s fight. Institutionalized racism is so deeply woven into the foundations of this country that we need everyone to actively fight for change. If you settle for “good enough,” the violence will continue. When we look back on history years from now, know that those who were silent did just as much damage as those who fired weapons.
*I chose to use a picture of my face, not to retract from the black community, but because I did not want to post any protesters’ faces without permission
To my BLM allies,
First off, I'd like to say thank you for sticking up for and fighting on our side. You guys are awesome. However, there's something I want to point out. When dealing with people of color who have different opinions than BLM ( ex- Candace Owens), it's NOT your place to tell them how to feel. Leave that to the black community to argue with them.
while we're on subject matter about blm activists/protesters being killed following their public contributions to our movements, i don't see “white allies” in particular working to expose the (conveniently nameless, faceless & consciously terroristic) white individuals responsible for both unlawful & unnecessary execution of Black Progressives & Protesters. like the lynchings here lately; where are the allies who actually have the balls to go after the white ppl we know did that instead of allowing it to be swept under the rug until something more immoral happens to the next Black victim?
let's talk about that — cus every Karen, Jessica, Hunter & Jake performatively claiming they willing to bat for niggas in 2020 but be the same white ppl posting about how unjustly the freshest Black protester was killed right up under our noses on some “oh no, guys! Did you hear??” type shit. not only that, but somehow the murders never make the fucking news, either. that is no fucking coincidence come on guys. y'all know damn well Black People ain't lynching themselves.
“white allies” can't give too much of a fuck cus you would think while they out here trying to bandwagon for their favorite scapegoat culture all of a sudden they'd be working tenfold to expose & uproot racist whites from within modern society. you would think they'd put nothing less than genuine concern into at the v least creating consequences where there have never been any for racist whites. they don't do that tho. don't make a fucken tweet about the shit; go full investigator (if not seek out the services of someone certified to) for these ignorant ass white folk like your privilege allows. actually be the difference, dumbasses. hunt those racist mfs down & snatch their careers; their means of making income; their homes; their freedom; their rights ffs! make life hell for them at a relentless rate the way they do for us.
