Hi!

overwatch is actually just a rip-off of a free-to-play voxel FPS game for 5 year olds
Block N Load was released April 30, 2015, a whole year and a month before Overwatch was (May 24, 2016). According to my brother, who actually has played Block N Load and who is helping me write this post, Block N Load can be characterized as being “full of screaming kids and people who can’t afford to play better games.” This would be nothing remarkable, except for the fact that for almost every Block N Load character released, some period of time afterwards a very similar Overwatch character was released.
For starters?
Kira-chan obviously has some aesthetic similarities to D.Va, but a more convincing argument for Overwatch ripping off Block N Load can be found in the similarities between her ability “Popstar Portal” and Symmetra’s teleporter:
Nigel Purdy-Longshott and Widowmaker have multiple very similar abilities, including her “infra-sight” and his “spot pray”, both of which allow them to see through walls, and which look very similar visually.
Sweet Science and Doomfist have a very similar gimmick to each other
This guy is like a combination between Mei and Winston, and his moves are extremely similar to Mei’s
I don’t want to fill this post with images but there are tons more character parallels to be made, both games have archetypes of
a ninja character that can climb walls and rapid fire shurikens
a short engineer with a shotgun and turrets
a robot with a rotating minigun
a mad scientist with the same wild hair, grenade launcher, and both damage enemies when they die
a military man with a secondary rocket launcher and machine gun, deployable health pack, and sprint ability
You can explore the characters more here
Now maybe this so far can all be chalked up to common tropes and coincidence,
but the kicker?
Anyway, if my brother’s theory is correct you can expect the next Overwatch hero to be something like... This
I boooooreeeeeed and i draw Kira and Bush Boi.
