So… a blog...

Although, I don’t really want to call it a blog - more of a diary seems more comfortable to me. Then I can pretend that people don’t actually have the ability to read this!

Why not just keep a private diary then, I hear you ask. Well that is a very good question. I kept a diary for many years of my early teens and I really grew to love it; on the bad days it worked as my therapist, and on the good days it was like my best friend. (How sad is that)

I would love to keep my thoughts to myself, because really, I’m pretty peculiar - but aren’t we all? And keeping that to ourselves just isn’t very healthy. We need to learn to talk and this is my beginning of trying to do that. And if in reading this, one lady or fella speaks to someone about something that’s troubling them, or even just about what they had for breakfast, then I will feel that this current feeling of embarrassment from my weird, cheesy, emotion-filled mind being on paper, will it’ll be worth it.

MyLog #2: Now to the masks

at some point of time, after my best friend left and lives now in another town (well for me he still is my best friend and we skype sometimes; but for him I’m not his best friend, but that is somehingfor another blog) I’ve noticed that I didn’t have any ‘friends’ . On top I was pretty unstable on the emotional base. So I needed a kind of defense, that’s when I ‘invented’ my masks. they’re just some things, nothing flashy, that mean the world to me. for example I have a ring (DIY but doesn’t matter), if I wear it, I’m trying to be more unobtrusive, also I think at least two times about what I’m saying. With that scheme I’ve ‘created’ some other items with other ‘abilities’. But now there is a problem coming up with these masks...

While the blog itself hasn’t been super active lately, the archive stretch back to 2007 with lots of coverage of diverse roguelikes.
