Klaus’s sour mood radiated from him as he laid on the couch, staring up at the ceiling with one arm tucked beneath his head. He has no desire to speak and was perfectly content to brood there and rot away for the remainder of the day, but Bonnie was being selfish, or at least he decided she was, by continuing to pester him about his feelings rather than allowing him to bottle them up in peace.
“Have you ever spent years carefully constructing a plan, only for a group of human children to ruin it?” He hissed the word children in her direction, his eyes flashing gold as he finally turned his head to look at her.
“No?” His mouth curled with bitterness. “Come back when you understand the devastation, girl.”
