Can I share with you my Astarion x Zevlor thoughts please? Only if you don't mind of course!

Im SOOOO sorry I totally read this wrong!!! I thought you were asking for my thoughts. Oh im a fool lol. So please still enjoy my ranting about Astarion x Zevlor but please please give me all your thoughts!✨️❤️✨️ I'd love to read them! Writing this has made me crazy about them

Honestly I think they'd be the cutest little old man couple. Like they have an adventurous streak but at the end of the day they just want to cuddle up with their beloved by the fire. And Astarion's got such big pretty princess energy and what is Zevlor if not a knight in shining armor.

Plus if they had a ship name it could be bloodyhell or hellstar which are both pretty good

In a perfect world where they were both companions I think they'd have such a great romance. They're both so ripe for angst and drama and damn you know they'd have one hell of a slow burn 🔥

• 100% they'd hate each other at first. Astarion would think Zevlor's a grumpy sad sack and Zevlor would think he's a rude narcissist. It would start with a lot of bickering and jabs. Working together would be a nightmare. Whether it's setting up camp or ambushing some bad guys they'd end up fucking it up because they're at each others throats the whole time. Eventually they mutually decided it was better to keep their distance.

•However Zevlor is a very observant man, and if there's one thing he knows it's trauma. After the exile he became a sort of expert in recognizing it. It's not long until he starts to see past Astarion's carefree mask. Noticing the small flinches, the paranoid glances and long dead eyed stares into nothing. It's then that everything changes. Zevlor finds himself thinking about and watching Astarion more often. He knows those feelings so well, knows how hard they can be to battle alone.

•Astarion's incredibly annoyed when he realizes Zevlor's kindness. Simple actions like not rising to his quips, keeping an eye on him in battle, even giving him an extra blanket when he catches him shivering. He feels like he's missing something and begins obsessing over it, not being able to figure out what the tiefling wants from him. Eventually he becomes determined to find an answer.

•One night Astarion sees Zevlor sitting alone by the campfire and realizes its his time to strike. He pulls out all the stops that night, all his best flirty lines and to his surprise Zevlor's responsive, doesn't miss a beat and flirts right back even earning a blush or two from the elf. Zevlor is a complete gentleman about it even goes so far as to walk Astarion to his tent and kiss his hand before bidding him goodnight.

• Astarion doesn't know how to feel for awhile. Zevlor treats him with a honesty and respect that he's not used to. Before he knows it he's coming around to Zevlor and quickly starts to enjoy his company. Spending evenings together becomes a regular thing.

• Another night Zevlor notices Astarion looking sickly. Once he finds out it's from lack of proper feeding Zevlor offers himself without hesitation. To be honest, he's a bit uneasy at the idea but he doesn't like seeing Astarion like that. Plus he can't imagine being a vampire is an easy thing. He's pleasantly surprised when it's a lot less aggressive than he was picturing. It's gentle, even intimate. Both of them find their hearts humming by the end.

•After that they'd start to become more attached to each other. Bonding over things like pulpy romance novels that were all the rage when Astarion read them over a hundred years ago, or the vampire delighting in stories of Zevlor's wild child youth. Certainly they would find they had much more in common then they thought.

•Once they're both firmly smitten with each other is when the angst would bloom like crazy. They're both deeply weighted down by their past and both feel themselves unworthy of each other's love. Especially once they start confiding in each other, after they've spent hours listening about the horrors of Avernus or the hell of life under Cazador. Astarion struggles with this the most, feeling undeserving of the kindness and understanding Zevlor gives him.

•In the end they became the other's greatest support and reminder of the beauty that life still holds for them, but it'll take some healing to get there.

Ok but the longing and the passion of these two?? Insatiable.

•Their first kiss happens one night after Astarion just drank from him. Zevlor would be laying on his back gazing up at him, eyes so full of adoration. He'd caress Astarion's cheek and ask to kiss him and before Zevlor could fully finish the question Astarion would be. His lips, his cheeks his horns every bit he could reach.

•Of course Astarion's nervous when he first tells Zevlor he wants to wait for sex until he's completely ready. But once again Zevlor's loving nature banishes the thoughts from his mind. Zevlor wants his love's comfort above everything and despite his deep desire for him he's more then happy just to be at Astarion's side. Zevlor quickly becomes great at putting Astarion at ease. Always making sure to check in to see what he's ok with, an arm around, a chaste kiss ect.

•Astarion takes his time but sooner than he thought he's dreaming of nothing else than being in Zevlor's arms. It's a strange feeling, he's never been in love with someone he hadn't already slept with. It makes him feel more naked than he's ever been but excited all the same.

•Their first night together is nothing short of magical. Zevlor goes very slow. Would probably start with a sensual full body massage to get them used to the feel of each other. It turns into the absolute definition of making love. It's passionate, gentle and just exquisitely tender. Zevlor would be praising Astarion nonstop, being overcome with pride and love. On the other hand Astarion would be a babbling mess unable to get a single thought out. Also you know these are men that cry when they cum so you best believe they are a MESS after.

• Very soon after this they become a nightmare for their companions because they are fucking constantly. It's a long time since either of them have had a loving physical relationship so their sex drive is through the roof. So everyone's careful when approaching them. They've been caught in a field, in the river, on a horse, just everywhere. They cannot get enough of each other.

• Astarion's been deeply enjoying his new found confidence and been using it to tease Zevlor unendingly. Loves to see him get flustered especially when it's in public. He also starts to take more control in the bedroom, much to the tiefling's delight. On more than one occasion Astarion has ripped a book out of his hand and straddled him wearing nothing but one of Zevlor's shirts. It drives him feral every time, he loves watching Astarion ride him.

• Luckily for them they're both big cuddlers. They love falling asleep while tangled up together. They're also both huge fans of sleepy morning sex. There's something in the slowness and intimacy of it that really plucks at their heartstrings. Additionally Astarion has never slept so soundly than with Zevlor. He just melts at the way he holds him, plus he adores how Zevlor wraps his tail around Astarion's ankle without even realizing.

Nach fünf Jahren und inzwischen ein paar hundert Filmkritiken auf diesem Blog, habe ich mich entschieden 2021 ein bisschen etwas zu ändern. Ich werde mich ab dem nächsten Jahr von der Kinoprämisse verabschieden und derfilminmeinemkopf wird ein allgemeiner Filmblog werden. Das liegt weniger an den Coronabedingungen das Kino betreffend als daran, dass ich gemerkt habe, dass ich mich durch diese Prämisse doch arg eingeschränkt und bedrängt fühle. Man erwischt ja doch recht häufig mittelmäßige Filme im Kino, über die es eigentlich nicht viel zu sagen gibt. Dementsprechend mäßig erscheinen mir dann auch die Kritiken dazu, zu denen ich mich oft antreiben muss. Im neuen Jahr werd ich daher damit beginnen, alle diejenigen Filme zu besprechen, die mich zum Schreiben anregen – sowohl im guten als auch im schlechten Sinne. Ich erhoffe mir dadurch duchgehend spannende Texte für euch und mehr Freude an diesem Projekt für mich. Schließlich ist das hier ein Hobby. ;-)

Ich hoffe, ihr bleibt mir trotzdem treu. Vorerst wünsche ich euch trotz der derzeitigen Situation einen guten Rutsch in neue Jahr und uns allen viele großartige Filme in 2021!
