Just finishing up the final cable cross on this cowl design and then it can go for a bath. The yarn is 100%alpace from @weareknitters and this photo really shows its soft halo. It's listed as a worsted weight which surprised me but on 4.5mm needles it knits up to give a really lofty, light fabric which reminds me that I really should try to work with alpaca yarn more.
