With Stu it was gradual cause at first I just saw him as a character from a movie, but then empathy hit me and I started loving all of his panicky behaviour and all…

With Andy it was almost instant, knowing he was interpreted by Ed helms(like Stu) just boosted my love for him (I yelled when I first saw him on screen) I at first found him annoying a bit but still understood (I also have anger issues and can't really stand pranks that much) then I started loving him and relate to him.

With Norrington was immediate, I loved him even before watching the movies, started searching about him before the day I had to watch the movies with my bestie. And after watching the movies it just made the love stronger.

2. who was your first ever Blorbo, who was your childhood Blorbo, and are they still your Blorbo?

oh man i have had so many blorbos over the years, it's hard to remember my very first. i was majorly a fan of lyra belacqua as a kid, and made my own alethiometer out of clay. i was also obsessed with (and this is maybe a bit of a deep cut) twig from the edge chronicles. did anyone else read those books?! i thought he was such a cool protagonist! sky pirates!!

7. what’s the one thing the fandom gets wrong about your Blorbo?

ohoho hot take time hmmm well i'm going to choose remus, and i think that current fandom often overlooks how cold remus can be. like, i love a soft, cozy, bumbling characterization of remus as much as the next person (mostly in comedy) but i think remus has the capacity to be quite proud, distant, and cutting with his remarks. he's avoidant! he hates conflict, and can ice people out because of it! and sometimes, he's vindictive! he is also brave and patient and kind and smells of parchment and tea. people contain multitudes.

17. do you like seeing your Blorbo suffer?

HAHA oh noooo i mean *like* is a strong word hmmm sometimes the blorbo must suffer so that the blorbo can blossom into their true form :^)

Ah, you know exactly what to ask. (Vzlitaem, beware of spoilers!)

Blorbo: Vaarsuvius. I can pretend it's someone else, but why should we sour our relationship with cheep lies? To be even more honest, Vaarsuvius could be the answer to every question on this list, but let's make it a little more interesting.

Scrunky: Shout out to every small animal in oots ever, particularly the bag of tricks animals and divorce wizard frog familiar.

Scrimblo bimblo: I could say O-Chul, but I think he is pretty universally loved, same with Roy and Haley. So I say Celia, I really miss her.

Glup Shitto: Sean Bean made an appearance in Stick Tales. I still can't get over it. Also Kyrie's children. They are essentially non-characters, but I have enough geadcanons about them to fuel a campaign.

Poor little meow meow: Sabine and Nale. They are sick, but their relationship is healthy and I love it. Also an honourable mention to Crystal. The girl was dumb and cruel, but she had a style.

Horse plinko: I'd say Redcloak, but lovingly. I don't want him to suffer, I want him to fall tragically until he hits the character development (or, well, the tragic end). I want him singing Western by Vivienne Mort.

Eeby deeby: I'm pretty sure superhell is real in-universe, and it's the place some characters call home. Like, Kubata is already there, I'm sure. I also want to clarify that I don't hate any of the characters in oots as characters, even the genuinely terrible people like Eugene, Tarquin, or Xykon. Yeah, I want to see Xykon defeated, but I don't hate reading about him. I used to hate Belkar, but those days are long gone.

In terms of pure personal antipathy, I'd say vampire Durkon, and let's leave it at that.

Which one of your characters is most likely to wake up their entire neighborhood? (I feel like I know the answer to this but I still wanna ask)

How would they do it? Would it be an accident or purposeful?

If you tought the answers would be Katz or Jiang, you were right!

The thing is that they would not do that on purpose. Katz would be waking up very early because she has to go raiding merchants ships with the Alliance. To do that, she has to prepare some weapons, get dressed in her clunky boots, and grab all the things for her ship. She lives in a place with very thin walls, and the equipment she manoeuvres is heavy, and noisy. She would probably wake everyone up just because of that. Especially because she is too tired to really pay attention at how much noise she is making.

Jiang instead would wake everyone up studying. One could think that studying is a quiet activity, but no, not with Jiang. He is a magic Scholar, keep in mind. He has to exercise with water, especially. Imagine that he lost control of it, because he is not exactely a top student. He would flood his entire apartment, or drain all the pipes, or make them explode. And being short tempered he would also yell at the water while practicing. Imagine the poor neighbors!

Ah which size one, correct?

Well here me out,

Tiny Spamton would be a fucking adorable little bundle of nerves. Poor guy wants to be bigger and ends up smaller?!?! He’d be devastated! But damn the image of him being small and curled up against someone or in a pile of floof warms my heart right up. He’d be trying to do stuff all the time, basically trying to prove his worth but ultimately would probably fail at tasks that are WAY to big for him. But he’s stubborn and he would try anyway until you find him exhausted on your desk.

However giant Spamton (assuming not Neo) would be a beautiful Bastard. He’d be so cocky around someone small OR he’d see them as super fragile and worry CONSTANTLY about hurting them. He’d definitely try and make a deal you can’t refuse if he caught you. He’d be so happy that he was big or at the very least bigger than one person. Assuming you’re tiny he would keep you around so he feels better about himself and his shorter height. Around all these tinies though? Man is gonna definitely feel like a god, and he didn’t even need the body!

(Fun fact: when Spamton was first introduced I tried to figure out how he would fit in with my giant Jevil idea and I thought “hey what if Lightners shrink in the dark world and Darkners shrink in the light world!” That way it’s like a G/t AU type thing…which is mostly a self insert lol)

blorbo (favorite character, character I think about the most): I'm happy to say I have never stopped blorbo-ing Jack Vessalius in 4 years, have bestowed on him the highest honor (the aroace headcanon) and by this point i'm downright projecting. Of course I can't not mention Oswald/Glen because when you ship something so hard you don't know who was the original blorbo and who's just so integral to the way you view them that they might as well have been the original blorbo. Oh and for the record, these two are *also* my poor little meow meows and my horse plinkos. idk I do have something extreme going on haha, which is to say that I have the unbearable urge to make everything better in the fanfiction world, but I also have the unbearable urge to make it even worse. Mostly for sympathy though, thus the plmm part. 😂 with that out of the way for the sake of this meme i'll go with the second best answer for the other two questions <3

scrunkly (my “baby”, character that gives me cuteness aggression, character that is So Shaped): just.... Elliot Nightray. I mean look at him! Petting stray cats and starting fights with strangers over blorbos! There's just, there's just so much of me in there!

scrimblo bimblo (underrated/underappreciated fave) : ADA. god i love her so much and want to protect her forever but i also think she's incredibly human and playful and wise, like she's actually the only sane adult in spite of the toxicity she puts up with! 🥺 It reminds me that I got the opportunity to write a fic from her pov once for a zine and that makes me v happy <3 (and then i forgot to publish it on ao3 i should edit it and do that someday) Also her uncle Oscar tbh. I really love their vibes.

glup shitto (obscure fave, character that can appear in the background for 0.2 seconds and I won’t shut up about it for a week) oof i'm not sure i have much in terms of obscure faves in PH, part of that because Mochizuki takes the time to decently develop even supporting characters (often better than main characters *cough* black alice *cough*) Miranda Barma maybe? I mean we share a blorbo and all

poor little meow meow (“problematic”/unpopular/controversial/otherwise pathetic fave) White Alice (aka Alyss) I think it's so fascinating how much in common she has with Lacie in her looks and personality and behaviour except that she literally has god-like powers and for some reason she still comes off as more pathetic and vulnerable and poor little meow meowy and idk I just love that.

horse plinko (character I would torment for fun, for whatever reason) Levi Baskerville. I find him hilarious, he has the rotten luck of a Baskerville and I have so little sympathy for him as a person that I think he's perfect for that specific genre of crack/comedy where nothing ever goes his way.

eeby deeby (character I would send to superhell) Xai Vessalius, Ada's dad, for being an insane abusive pos and yet still being so very human and hurt that I care enough to eeby deeby him.

Jake english for the blorbo chart?

I don't know if i already sent you this, i see the blorbo chart i ask for jake

God this guy. This dude. This frustrating contradictory enigma of a man.

Don't get me wrong - I love him! He's a really fun character! I just can't figure out *why* I like him, or what his deal is. I think part of that might be the same issue I have with most of the alpha kids - I kinda skimmed over their sections to get to the intermission stuff, so I never really got a good sense of their characters (which I'm aiming to fix with my reread now), but apparently I'm not the only one to have an issue figuring out Jake and his whole Deal.

Hell, I can't even pin down how I *feel* about him. I don't really like DirkJake, but I also do? I find Jake pretty shallow and boring, but he's also one of the most interesting characters to me? One thing I can definitively say about him is I find his classpect incredibly interesting (Pages and Hope players as a concept are just very cool to me)

There's also some really interesting meta analysis of Jake that I really like! Like the way he was written to be a male version of the sexy action hero woman (even though that didn't really go anywhere). But if you're looking at the actual character, he's more a container for Vibes and Analysis at this point.

I guess. I just wish he got more? More of anything really - just give me *something* to try and figure him out with. I love him! I have no clue who he is!
