blorbo (favorite character, character I think about the most): I'm happy to say I have never stopped blorbo-ing Jack Vessalius in 4 years, have bestowed on him the highest honor (the aroace headcanon) and by this point i'm downright projecting. Of course I can't not mention Oswald/Glen because when you ship something so hard you don't know who was the original blorbo and who's just so integral to the way you view them that they might as well have been the original blorbo. Oh and for the record, these two are *also* my poor little meow meows and my horse plinkos. idk I do have something extreme going on haha, which is to say that I have the unbearable urge to make everything better in the fanfiction world, but I also have the unbearable urge to make it even worse. Mostly for sympathy though, thus the plmm part. 😂 with that out of the way for the sake of this meme i'll go with the second best answer for the other two questions <3

scrunkly (my “baby”, character that gives me cuteness aggression, character that is So Shaped): just.... Elliot Nightray. I mean look at him! Petting stray cats and starting fights with strangers over blorbos! There's just, there's just so much of me in there!

scrimblo bimblo (underrated/underappreciated fave) : ADA. god i love her so much and want to protect her forever but i also think she's incredibly human and playful and wise, like she's actually the only sane adult in spite of the toxicity she puts up with! 🥺 It reminds me that I got the opportunity to write a fic from her pov once for a zine and that makes me v happy <3 (and then i forgot to publish it on ao3 i should edit it and do that someday) Also her uncle Oscar tbh. I really love their vibes.

glup shitto (obscure fave, character that can appear in the background for 0.2 seconds and I won’t shut up about it for a week) oof i'm not sure i have much in terms of obscure faves in PH, part of that because Mochizuki takes the time to decently develop even supporting characters (often better than main characters *cough* black alice *cough*) Miranda Barma maybe? I mean we share a blorbo and all

poor little meow meow (“problematic”/unpopular/controversial/otherwise pathetic fave) White Alice (aka Alyss) I think it's so fascinating how much in common she has with Lacie in her looks and personality and behaviour except that she literally has god-like powers and for some reason she still comes off as more pathetic and vulnerable and poor little meow meowy and idk I just love that.

horse plinko (character I would torment for fun, for whatever reason) Levi Baskerville. I find him hilarious, he has the rotten luck of a Baskerville and I have so little sympathy for him as a person that I think he's perfect for that specific genre of crack/comedy where nothing ever goes his way.

eeby deeby (character I would send to superhell) Xai Vessalius, Ada's dad, for being an insane abusive pos and yet still being so very human and hurt that I care enough to eeby deeby him.

So last time I was ranting to my poor and dear @fabricatedghost​ about how frustrated I was that Jack and Oswald’s only “interaction” in present day was that stare/eye contact when Oswald disappeared. And the answer I got was that that eye contact actually conveyed a number of words that Oswald could’ve and should’ve said. 

And so this was born. I apologize.

@filzmonster asked me about jack x oswald for the ship meme and I'm clumsy and lost the ask so I will do it better here. xD (I can still be a tumblr noob) First of all thank you so much for the ask <3.

when I started shipping it if I did: It was sort of a big misunderstanding tbh, it was that scene in Retrace 37 where Oswald mistook Oz for Jack and by some moment, as he was realizing his mistake, was absently touching his cheek and tucking some hair behind his ear and Oz was blushing and it looked so gay so I thought "oooh that's what he meant by "my one and only friend"? Okay okay I get you my dude I thought it was weird too but it's okay I understand now.". Oswald making an ambiguously gay statement at their first meeting didn't help, but it's only way after the reveal that I started to realize their relationship wasn't as canon as I thought it was xDD. (I blame it on Oswald being unnecessarily ambiguous. Wtf that's really Gil's dad for you)

my thoughts: Hm. Honestly I think they're a very angsty ship in canon but from a what-if perspective, they had a wholesome/healing potential and I like that even though the ship went very wrong, there was definitely ways for it to go right and I honestly like them on the whole dark/angst to fluff/sunshine spectrum. Okay with the whole spectrum platonic-romantic too, even though I hc them as ambiguous (as in mostly platonic but not strictly so)

What makes me happy about them: NOTHING. They make me cry and want to hit them. More seriously though, I like how unexpected their relationship was, because of how hard it was for Jack to bond with anyone after the 8 years that messed him up, and because Oswald doesn't seem like he'd be good at making friends (and how everyone from Levi to Lottie was pointing out how weird their friendship was). I kinda find it endearing that even though Oswald couldn't approve of Lacie and Levi's relationship, he suggested/considered the possibility of Jack being with his sister more than any of the two did.

What makes me sad about them: The fact that Jack probably never stopped believing that Oswald found him "disgusting" because no one thought to clear that one misunderstanding up, and that because of that he believed Oswald would judge him harshly for his past if he knew of it. And the fact that Oswald probably believed by some point Jack had been faking their relationship based on what Jack did and said in moments he was clearly out of his mind (but when is he not I wonder), and that despite that he kept remembering fond memories of him even when he was cruelly killing the Pandora guys, and that's probably why he didn't want to hear his name again; because it was genuinely painful and his wish of being friend with him was sincere, rather than just out of vengeful hatred.

things done in fanfic that annoys me: Hm, I don't recall being annoyed a lot by fanfics on them because they aren't that much but. I guess I've seen some inaccurate portrayals of their relationship where it's mostly Jack doing the bonding and Oswald neither liking him nor his involvement with his sister when it's actually Oswald who's the most emotionally involved in their friendship out of the two? (I mean, consciously. Because a lot seems to be happening in Jack's subconscious mind that his idiocy blocked out from his consciousness)

things I look for in fanfic: I just look for fanfics. They need more love xD.

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Alyss for Jack (mostly platonic but I don't mind some degree of ambiguousness with 15 yo!Jack) and Lacie for Oswald (strictly platonic). Although both would only happen if death weren't a thing xD

My happily ever after for them: so many of these? AU where Jack and Lacie are balanced people and they all live happily ever after in ot3 land, or for something post-Lacie's death, some AU where Oswald vaguely thought it was weird to not ask about a close friend when we're convinced they're going to commit suicide and got Jack out of his depressive/highly suggestible state with something that is slightly less hazardous and dangerous than all the info and their implications that Levi gave him, resulting in Jack not being able to cause a tragedy (probably also having less delusions about Lacie and more trust in Oswald?) and that less than perfect family with Gil and Vince that's not all that happy without Lacie, with Oswald turning into a chain and Jack not being able to live without being emotionally dependent on someone but still, did you see how they ended? That's totally a happily ever after.

who is the big spoon/little spoon: idk I needed urban dictionary for this one (I'm too innocent) but I'd see Jack being the big spoon only because he's the clingy one with no concept of personal space (ask Oz about this. Also idk why but I'm drawing way too many parallels between Oz and Oswald lately xD). Although, it would also work the other way around. But in private, with the lights off.

what is their favorite non-sexual activity: music. I'd see them playing piano together, or Jack singing and Oswald playing the accompaniment. Also I can totally picture them doing a duet with Oswald on piano and Jack on some "exotic" instrument like the huqin he was playing on their first meeting (Like something like this? (Youtube) watch?v=7ooh8IfHZIM). For individual activities, I'll say napping for Oswald and making music boxes for Jack.
