Happy anniversary, Frisk thinks sourly, slamming Steam closed. 

A bitter one. A funeral day, more like.

It says it’s been a year. 

A full, solid year since their Player last opened the game.

They’re probably being dramatic. Some people would be glad. In fact, they were glad...for a while. They could go wherever they wanted without too much risk of being discovered.

But that’s what they’re for. Playing. Being played. And they hate that Undertale seems too boring now to bother with.

They’ve explored their code. They’ve explored the Player’s computer, getting into trouble in a few other games besides. They’ve gone all the way, past the limits into arcades and whole other states.

They don’t know what to do now.

Except...

There's that strange Sans they talk to sometimes. A sort-of friend, they think. From a whole different game, far away...again, they think. Frisk’s attention can be flighty, and they’ll be one of the first to admit that.

Impulsively, they amble back through their system, skipping over data-made railroad tracks and climbing circuit ladders, to the Internet browser the Player doesn’t use very often, and shoot a message.
