time for a brainrot! 💭 - blue lock edition (3)

currently brainrotting over study dates with bf! isagi yoichi except you're the only one studying since he's too busy staring at you

his textbook is open and he has his notebook out but he can't help but stare at you as you mumble your work step by step as you solve math equations to prep for the upcoming midterm exams

he watches as you curse under your breath when you get a different answer from the answer key in the back of the book, quickly looking away when you lift up your head to take a peek at him

you've been dating for a little while now, but isagi can't help but get embarrassed time to time

you fight back a grin as you look back down to your math work, noticing how the tips of his ears get a little red

when you try to compare work and notes with him, he always fumbles about not being done yet or getting the answer wrong, trying to shield his work because truthfully, he hasn't been very productive and his paper is still blank

he tries to get back on track but productivity is lost once again when he takes a peek at you, engraining the cute look of your furrowed eye brows and small pout on your face to memory as stray strands of hair fall in front of your face

without thinking isagi brushes them away and you look up at him with a surprised look on your face, a light pink blush dusting your cheeks. it's only then that he realizes what he did and he quickly retracts his hand, stuttering and fumbling with his words, a red flush creeping up his neck

you smile knowingly and get back to work, your boyfriend reluctantly getting back to his own

(a few minutes later, the cycle starts back up again)

(he can't help it, you're just so cute when you're concentrating)

Just a short rant of the itoshi siblings:

I feel like the itoshi brother's actually have talent in playing musical instruments for some odd reason.

Like Well let's just say...

Itoshi rin says he has no interest in playing any instruments cause he thinks it's a mere distraction

But in reality he has played one before

And i feel like his favorite musical instrument out of everything..

Is the electric guitar. Just imagine his fingers on the electric guitar as he treats it so carefully

Or even better imagine how good he plays the guitar..

Just let that sit in you for just quite a moment. Just imagine what if, whenever rin has spare time, what if he would just start to grab the guitar and play it?

He is skilled that's for sure. I can just see the way he play in the back of my mind...

And as for the older itoshi?

Well he would say playing or making music is a waste of time but I'm sure deep down that he's just lying..

I just could see sae playing the drums or something. And I just know he's good at it but due to the lack of spare time,

He barely plays it. Maybe that's why it's not obvious for others to figure it out..,

But whenever he does have free time, or maybe whenever he just want to forget about smth..

Maybe he just starts playing the drums out of stress to relive himself I don't know.

Now dont take this seriously its just a brain rot afterall but this is what I think.

Everyone has their own opinions afterall :)

We didn't get Shidou in ep23 so my manifestation post didn't work but I have like 4 Shidou fanart posts in my queue posting tomorrow soooooo.......... at least some Shidou content being put into the world :']

Despite my intense love for Shidou, I'm not sad about not seeing him in the anime. I wouldn't be sad about not seeing him in ep24 either because I got all of my other favourite characters!!!

I JUST LOVE!!! Blue Lock sm!!! It makes me so so so happy. I literally got into it mid January and I've rewatched the anime like 5-8 times and saw most episodes at least 10 times (literally rewatched the anime twice this week)

I read the manga in the span of 5 days in January and I'm currently on a reread (I just read as many chapters as I want whenever I feel like it.)

While I'm at it. I just wanna say, my dms are open if anybody wanna talk about Blue Lock!! I love talking about it so so much but I have to refrain myself from posting as much as I have in my brain because I don't wanna spam so much.

On the thought of Hugo being into fiction books,

Every time Charles repeatedly lies or pulls some kind of prank where he gets caught and Loki rebuking him is unfortunately futile, Hugo, taking inspiration from a very famous fable, suggests playing a prank back.

So the team come together behind Charles’ back and create a situation which eerily resembles one of Charles lies/pranks.

The story follows with no one believing him this time (the boy who cried wolf reference) and Charles actually learns his lesson.

a/n: but then again, I feel like this wouldn’t work bc somehow I feel like Charles would be very well versed in fables, specifically fables, idk why, I just feel like Charles would rlly be intrigued by them— especially bc he likes Alice in the Wonderland.

But it’s just a thought…

YESSSS I NOTICED THIS TOO IN MY CALC LECTURE 😭

so I was so confused when ch 339 was announced to come without break week, and then I was looking at the page count so far of vol 38 in my lecture last week and comparing it to the other volumes (I was so confused bc each vol is USUALLY 9 chapters, however there were, I believe, two volumes that had 10 chapters in it)

vol 37 was leaked on 8/12/25 and the jap translation was set to be officially released on 16/01/26

vol 38 jap translation is set to be officially released on 16/04/26 so my guess is that vol 38 cover will be leaked on the 8/03/26 on maybe even this Friday bc leaks drop either Monday or Friday
