OH MY GOD I CAN FINALLY TALK ABOUT THIS. I’ve been wanting to make a Blue and Yellow piece for ages, and it was killing me to not be able to scream about this piece when a CERTAIN SOMEONE (staring at vikingpilot) DECIDED TO BRING BACK YELLOW.

Anyway, this uses a couple of my favorite bits of symbolism to use when drawing blue and yellow (their respective wings and bloody/cracked goggles), but there are also a few other things I did with color for the sake of “despite being different, they’re two parts of the same whole” (mostly stuff like blue having a warm filter over their coloring and warm lineart and vice versa for yellow).

Even though I mostly chose This Is How I Disappear for the line shown in the piece, the entire song SCREAMS blue and yellow to me, and someone should listen to it and join me in my screaming about it relating to these two

Well how about another Au of all the team getting killed (yes Allura and Coran included) except for Lance and the blue pilot blames himself for not protecting his team on time.
