Okay I fall in JiKook rn... Pre-edit I made for JiKook in 24 hours later
The Yellow in my blue
By Zevaaa
I woke up today
Feeling my hand incased in warmth
The sun through the window
Into my muted world
I was in a trance
My fingers twitching under the sun beam
And it brought me back to the days
When you and I were a team
I didn't dare move
Breathing shallow but fast
Afraid the warmth of golden will run away
And you'll be out of my grasp
But then I think about the story
That I made, forced, wrote
The mask I wore myself
The words I spoke
About how they once brought you
Bouts of giggles, an immense joy
About how I asked you if you'd be my friend
And nodding your head was your choice
It was the best decision of my life
I told you so then
And it still remained true even on the day
When you packed your paints and turned,
When I needed the courage
You called me the brave, the leader, the first line
When I was anything but because I couldn't speak past the lies I designed
I'm the heart you said, I wish I could say "you were always mine"
My tongue has said words
Cold and harsh that I didn't want to shout
And yet you, wise and warm, forgave me,
Never once turned it around
The journal with your name on it
Still lives on the shelf in my basement
And I surround myself with you
In my self made enslavement
"Her" rolled up heart lives on my wall
The only lie you've ever told
I knew it was yours
But I couldn't call it out because I just wasn't bold
now you're sitting under the dancing lights
With his hand holding yours, clasped tight
Eyes creased in awe and glee
You were always meant to be free
And my room is closed up,
Dreary and cold, my one rue
But just like you always find me, inevitable like the air,
This morning, the curtains blew
And my blue was surrounded in the yellow hue
I called you.
BIG HOUSE !
