Legode Rydrion (blue-skinned-druid): "Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to barge in like that." the druid says, her blue face turning a little lavender before running her fingers through her hair and revealing part of her own scar. "I really didn't think anyone would be in here."
Zak glares over his naked shoulder, piercing red eyes pining the elf who’d just barged into the washroom without knocking. He relaxes only marginally upon recognizing the druid. She might not have been a threat, but her mixed heritage was apparent enough to his subconscious eye to put him slightly on edge. Naked in front of a drow female was never a good position to be, especially if one were a drow male. Her words and awkward manner did succeed in easing him however, so different they are from what he was accustomed. Still, he wasn’t pleased with the interruption to his solitude.
With a grunt he dismisses her presence as merely bothersome and returns to the task of filling his bathwater, mentally chastising himself for not remembering to lock the door before starting his bath. As he works he makes no move to cover his nakedness, unintentionally displaying his corded svelte body…and the many scars that covered it. Most of the marks were very old, and spoke of a bygone time. Some, however, were still new and angry. More than a few had been purposefully and carefully placed, reminders of a time when his body had become a canvas of for another’s malevolent will. Not that it mattered much to him at this point. Most of the time he didn’t even remember they were there, so much were they a part of himself.
"There is no need to apologize." He says, clearly quite ready for the elf to take her leave as he steps into the tub, "However, as you have seen by now, someone is indeed using this room."

Aruya's hood was pulled low over her face, its shadows helping to obscure the scars marring her features, as she quietly made her way into Riftwood. Draug paced by her side, golden eyes watching their surroundings warily.
The ranger hadn't intended to stop in the town, but a few miles away she'd realized exactly how low on supplies she was. Dried meat and trail crackers were rations she could usually do without, but with winter approaching game would be scarcer than usual. So she'd decided to visit the town to buy what she could, and perhaps barter for those items which her meager supply of gold wouldn't cover.
Unfortunately, the town was less than familiar to her. Reluctantly, she stopped a passerby. "Pardon me, but can you tell me of this town? This is Riftwood, aye?"

Usually Amber tried to stay out of the woods as much as possible, but today Sofia insisted they find a magical plant needed to complete a spell for sorcery class. However, while they wandered around looking for the plant, they seemed to have gotten a bit lost. Sofia was the first one to spot someone else in the woods and ask for directions. Smiling as she walked over to the stranger, she inquired, "Excuse me, do you know which way Enchancia is?"

Sleep was a luxury; a peaceful, calm experience that his kind could indulge in if they wished to. He didn’t dream nor was the demon ever truly unconscious if he chose to drift off—and it was that thought that caused the ravenette to snap his eyes open. He couldn’t remember having dozed off; he couldn’t even remember lying down in the first place, and definitely not there. The man wouldn’t fall asleep in the middle of nature like this.
But he had no other explanation, either.
Swiftly, Sebastian sat up and stood, brushing a bit of dust off his clothes as he frowned, glancing around. Something was very off. However, if someone had attacked him in some way then he would certainly be aware of this. Besides, he hadn't been wounded, that much was sure. The dark-haired demon was convinced that he hadn’t been at this place before. It didn’t seem familiar in the slightest – and a curious vibe radiated off of this field.
Though, just staying here like this wouldn’t answer any of his questions. No matter where exactly he was, sooner or later he would cross ways with someone who could tell him about this place, and then he could decide what he would do. It there was something entertaining to be found then Sebastian might stay for a while until he grew bored, if not he would simply wander to the next place.
There was no problem at all.
With a deep sigh, the demon headed off.
A pixie carrying an amulet with a clear, pale purple stone set into some copper flies in with a grin. "Hi, I'm Lola the male pixie, familiar to Kinder Rydrion of Riftwood. Master's sent me here to let you know we got your reply, and he told me to get over here to give you this! It's called a Kinderstone, and it's useful in communications. Just tap the stone three times, say Kinder's name and you'll be able to talk to him! Though it only works with other people who have Kinder stones as well."
Safiya stared very hard at the pixie - which had apparently traced her spider back to her, got in past her wards, and was offering her something that he said was a communications device. That was… disturbing. She made a motion, and Kaji fluttered up, grinning at ‘Lola’ and took the offered pendant.
She wasn’t touching it, not until she was certain it was no more than what the familiar said it was. She briefly considered attempting to question the pixie, but it would probably be like trying to interrogate Kaji - difficult unless you knew exactly what you were doing, frustrating, and largely fruitless.
"That seems very considerate of your master," she said instead. "Thank him for me, and tell him I will be in touch once I have had a closer look at his device, and once I’m satisfied of my own safety."
[Closed RP@ Blue-Skinned-Druid] Two Guys Walk into a Crypt
It was a rare occasion that Effron was assigned to field missions. His place was in the labs and libraries tinkering and in perpetual study. So, when Draygo Quick told him he was going to Faerun to investigate a crypt, he knew something was up. Then, he was informed in the most scathing of manners that he would be overseeing a major expedition in the middle of winter and he had been so graciously (and unanimously) nominated by his colleagues for that task.
Of course.
So, because of that vote taken without his consent, Effron found himself standing ankle-deep in cold, white misery watching the acolytes and a small collection of Clavus Dun mercenaries try to open the door to the crypt. It had taken forever to find the thing; Draygo’s map hadn’t been entirely accurate and door was so well hidden they probably would have missed it even if there hadn’t been snow and fog everywhere that morning.
He adjusted his cloak impatiently. It was horribly heavy and he’d have a crick in his neck later from wearing it, but it served a greater purpose of disguising his mangled shoulder. Heavens forbid this band of ruffians and new people saw the injury and deemed him unfit to lead. That and it was warm; if there was one thing Effron hated more than the other apprentices, it was being cold.
Scanning the walls around the door over the heads of shorter humans, he looked for clues. Some inscriptions, a hinge, anything really. He sorely wished the Clavus Dun had been kinder and sent rogues to help them instead of brutes with more brawn than brain and the dexterity of drunken pigs.
A particularly surly fellow rammed his shoulder against the stone to no effect, or no visible one at least.
“What’s that noise?” Effron called over the frustrated grumbling of his men. When they were all silent, he strained his ears to listen. The echo of the mountainside made it difficult to place its origin or even identify it, but the warlock was sure of one thing:
It was coming closer.
