Watercolor background studies - some are light studies, others are for atmosphere and some are just meditative. Clearly I have a very intimate relationship with trees. 

Almost all of these are done on Hot Press paper.

My giftee, @Bluealaris, asked for Shiro in a moment of vulnerability. I wanted to keep it less angsty, so there is Shiro just relaxing, living a normal life, no stress, no war, no responsibilities… Shiro deserves every moment of peace he can get…

Watercolor guppy girls <3 Done on Hot Press Paper. Warm-up for a lazy Sunday. I love all the different colorful tails!

Symone the wilted butterfly - born a bit too early or a bit too late and his wings never quite folded out completely. He is still stunning enough to persuade others to feed him nectar.

Langamire and Rowan have shared custody of the surviving children of a murdered monarch. Fleeing from a country now overrun with religious zealots and unlikely to ever return home, the two older men have to get along for the sake of the young prince and princess. Rowan (left) still sometimes calls Langamire (right) ‘the help’.
